Weight distribution systems are prone to making some odd noises, but a sound that would wake that dead is probably on the higher than normal side of things. The lift brackets of the Curt kit part # C17500 that you referenced can be greased and you can grease the zerk fittings on the bar holders of the head but beyond that Curt does not recommend greasing any of the other moving parts as the friction there is part of the sway control.

I assume you have the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System part # LC358590? If that is the case then there is a manual override on both the top of the motor and bottom of the leg for each jack. Since the jack is retracted then it will be best to use the manual override on top of the motor. On the top of the motor is a rubber plug. Remove the plug and insest a 3/8" drive (socket + extension), then turn.

Sounds like you are experiencing what is termed 'Hyperflashing'.
My best recommendation is to remove the 4-way wiring harness and see if the problem still persists. If it does there is a problem in the vehicle wiring.

What you are describing sounds like an internally shorted converter box. Anytime we see a trailer taillight want to stay on and the connections are solid that indicates that a short in the trailer wiring most likely damaged the box and is preventing it from functioning properly. This is what the boxes are designed to do as they essentially are designed to fail in the event of a short to prevent it from making it's way to the vehicle wiring. I took a look at the online version of the owner's manual for your 2016 Kia Sorento and if it's equipped with the tow package there should be a 30 amp fuse for the trailer wiring connector inside the under-hood fuse box. For its specific location you will want to check the diagram on the fuse box lid (under the lid).

The 5.H, or S.H, code that you are seeing on your Primus IQ # TK90160 means that the brake wire sees a short during idle condition. The short is on the blue wire of the brake controller somewhere between the controller and the trailer connector. Typically it's a bit of corrosion on the inside or the outside of the connector that causes this. The first thing to check on your trailer is the main ground wire. After winter storage it is possible the trailer's main grounding point has corroded. A weak ground can cause all sorts of weird behavior from trailer lights.
