You are absolutely correct that all you need to do is use the grease zerk and add LubriMatic LMX Industrial Strength Grease # L11390 or LubriMatic Wheel Bearing Grease # L11465 with Grease Gun # L30200, # L30416, or # L30480.
That said, it is still a good idea to disassemble the hub and manually inspect the bearings on occasion just to be sure everything is in good working order.

On your 2012 Ford E350 Van with the factory towing package the brake controller port should be located behind the center of the dash above the stereo. You will need to remove the center panel above the stereo and to the left. Once it is removed there is a box where the Factory OEM brake controller would normally be installed, if your van was so equipped, and the connector is behind that box. Your first check is a look in the motor home's power distribution box within the engine compartment. It is possible that fuses required to activate the brake controller's 12V power feed are not in place. Look for any open fuse receptacles labelled trailer or tow and install the required value fuse(s). The harness you are using, part # 3035-P, is the correct one for the Ford E-series.

For your 2007 Ford E-150 the Curt hitch part # 14055 is a confirmed fit that would work well. On the E-150 models the frame is not drilled for the mounting of the hitch like the other versions of the van are.
