How to Install a Fully Functioning 7-Way Connector on a 2008 Ford E-350
Question:
I have a 2008 E-350 van I need to install a seven way trailer plug on. I need to know the product info. I know it has OEM plugs because I have already installed the brake controller in the front. Im just having trouble finding the right plug for the job. Thanks,

If there was a 7-Way on your 2008 Ford E-350 and it has been removed then you should be able to find the US Car Connector (see attached photo) that connects to the Replacement Multi-Tow 7-Way & 4 Pole Trailer Connector # 74682.
After looking under your E-350 if you still cannot find it then you need to install the Universal Wiring Kit # ETBC7 which connects to a 4-Way like the T-One # 118551 (if you don't have a 4-Way). The ETBC7 kit gives you everything that you need for a fully functioning 7-Way and provides the wiring needed to connect the 7-Way to your brake controller.
Check the rear of your E-350 for a group of connectors along the inside of the driver's side frame rail, between the bumper and the rear wheel. There should be 2 connectors that look very similar, one has a white ground wire running to the frame and the other does not. You need to test the wires, with a Circuit Tester # 3808, to ensure they are the wires for the brake controller and 12V power. The orange wire should have constant power while the blue wire should only receive power when the brake pedal is pressed.
To complete your installation you need to connect the blue wire from the ETBC7 connector to the blue wire that you found, and the black wire form the ETBC7 connector to the orange wire that you found.
I have attached a few helpful articles for you to check out as well.
