The Michelin RainForce wiper blade for your vehicle improves visibility in rainy conditions. The metal frame is hinged so that it flexes to spread downward pressure over multiple points along the blade. The natural rubber squeegee is made with proprietary processing techniques to ensure that it outperforms the competition. And the squeegee has a graphite coating to make sure the wiper glides smoothly across your windshield. This graphite coating helps to eliminate skipping, which can leave behind a washboard pattern of water. It also helps keep your wiper quiet so you won't be annoyed by squealing or chattering sounds.
The vented design lets air flow freely through the frame, allowing the wiper to maintain consistent pressure on your windshield - even in high winds. So whether you're caught in windy conditions or just driving on the highway, you'll still have a clear view through your windshield.
The metal wiper frame has a powder coat finish that resists rust and ensures a long life. The frame hinges are constructed of metal to add strength and durability, and the squeegee has a stainless steel flexor that provides a corrosion-proof backbone for the blade.
To install the blade, rotate the connector piece on the blade to fit the type of connector that's on your car. (Some wiper arm styles require that you replace the standard connector on the blade with one of the included alternate connectors.) Then clip the wiper blade onto the car's connector. The wiper blade will click into place so that you know it's securely installed.

Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today, we're taking a look at and showing you how to replace these Michelin Frame-Style Wiper Blades. It's going to be, like I said, a frame-style, so you can see there's multiple points of contact from the frame along the blade and that's going to be a replacement for our 2022 Toyota RAV4. Excuse me. Now, this is gonna come in a kit.
We've got the passenger side with us right now, that's the 16-inch blade. We're also gonna get a 26-inch blade for the driver's side in the kit. They both install the same way, so what we're gonna do today is install the passenger side and compare it to the factory blade over in the driver's side. Now with the frame-style blades, I'm typically not as big a fan of them just because all these gaps kind of lend themselves to be exposed to the elements, and especially in the winter months, they can get gunked up with snow and ice. Now, Michelin does have two options for hybrid-style that have covers over the frame, or you can look into a beam-style blade.
Those are the ones I tend to prefer because I feel like they get a little bit better edge contact on the windshield, but that's just my personal experience with my own vehicle. Yours may be different. Now, getting it replaced is really straightforward. On the factory blade, there's a slight cover here that I'm gonna use a trim tool to pop up just because it's pretty tight and there's not a lot of room to get your finger in there. And once that's open, you can just remove it from the hook.
I recommend having a towel or some sort of padding down here so that if this does snap down accidentally, there's some protection to make sure your windshield doesn't crack. The new blade will install the exact same way onto that hook. You'll feel it snap in place. And then, we can set it down and test it out. We can see if we hear any skipping or notice any streaks.
And right away, it definitely sounds smooth. And taking a look at it, I am noticing just some minor streaking in the middle of the blade. But, overall, it's not bad. And compared to the driver's side, I'm noticing a lot more streaking over there. It may not show up super well on camera, so in-person, you can definitely tell a difference at least. Now, like I said, the frame-style isn't my favorite. If you decide to go with the frame-style, I'd maybe look into a hybrid option. I found that those ones tended to get a little bit better edge contact, and I'm not sure if that's because of the cover or not, but it definitely performed a bit better than these. These are gonna be pretty basic. Either way, you go, though. They are gonna be a good replacement, easy to do in the driveway in just a couple of minutes, and it's gonna help get the windshield a little bit more clear than those older factory blades. These wiper are doing a terrible job on my 2008 accord ex-l. I'm not sure if the piece is defective or not. The right corner flies off the glass initially and does not clean any water.

I bought a pair of wipers for my wife's car in an auto parts store. They were terrible.
