The Club Pedal-to-Wheel lock installed on a vehicle

Deter theft of your vehicle by immobilizing 2 of your vehicle's most critical driving components with The Club Pedal-to-Wheel lock. One end of the lock hooks around your brake, clutch, or gas pedal, preventing it from being depressed. The other hook grabs the steering wheel to keep it from being turned.

This lock is designed to provide maximum tension and minimal slack between your pedal and steering wheel. It eliminates any "wiggle room" making it extremely difficult for crooks to maneuver the hooks off and drive away with your vehicle.

Strong Chromoly Steel Construction with Protective Vinyl Coating

Chromoly steel construction gives this lock a potent defensive edge against break-off attempts. Chromoly steel is known to be significantly stronger than ordinary steel, which makes it an ideal material for the construction of locks. Chromoly steel is resistant to a thief's most creative arsenal of break-off methods such as sawing, prying, hammering, and freezing.

Vinyl coating on the steering wheel hook of The Club Pedal-to-Wheel lock

A durable vinyl coating is applied to the black steering wheel hook to prevent scratches to the wheel during installation and removal.

Adjustable Length for a Snug Fit

The Club Pedal-to-Wheel lock adjusts in length to fit most steering wheels

The Pedal-to-Wheel lock adjusts in 3/16" increments during installation to fit vehicles with a distance of 22-1/2" to 30" from the arm of the pedal to the bottom of the steering wheel when the steering column is set to the lowest position. The ability to adjust the length makes it an excellent option for multi-vehicle households that frequently transfer their locking device from one vehicle to another.

Slender Lock Stores Easily

The Club Pedal-to-Wheel lock stores easily under the seat.

The Pedal-to-Wheel lock's slender, 2-hook design allows it to lie flat when placed on its side so it can fit easily underneath your vehicle's seat for storage. Simply slide it under the seat to keep it out of sight and safely stowed when not in use.

Easy Installation

Adjusting the length and installing the Pedal-to-Wheel lock is easy. First, make sure your steering column is set to the lowest possible position. If the steering column is not set to the lowest position before the lock is installed, thieves can lower the column afterwards which will create slack and potentially free the steering wheel from the lock.

The Club Pedal-to-Wheel lock installation.

Attach the black steering wheel hook to the bottom center of your steering wheel making sure the hook is facing down. Then, gently pull until you can attach the red pedal hook around the arm of the gas, clutch, or brake pedal. Gently push each end towards each other to take up any slack that may remain. Once you obtain a tight grip, use one of the provided keys to lock the Pedal-to-Wheel lock into place.

The Club Pedal-to-Wheel lock is simple to remove as well. While the vehicle is off, unlock the Pedal-to-Wheel lock with 1 of the provided keys. Pull outward to create slack in the lock and maneuver the hooks off of the pedal and steering wheel. Store the lock under the seat or in the trunk of your vehicle.

Of course I have no idea if this instrument has actually kept someone from breaking into my car, but I use it on a regular basis and I hope it’s helping to keep my car secure.

Great, couldn’t be more satisfied

by:

Lock is very robust and works well. However car owners beware your brake pedal may not be a suitable anchor point in newer vehicles. Case in point my 2018 Jeep Cherokee is not. Pedal is mounted on a ball joint and will release with upward pressure. This happened and subsequently bent the brake light actuating rod. This caused the brake lights to stay on. This in turn confused the traction control in to thinking the vehicle was slipping reducing power to about 30%. Three trips and two Jeep dealerships later got the problem resolved. Obviously not the locks fault, I just hope this helps some else avoid my experience.

i kinda like, that you do not need a key anymore, when its unlocked and it slides out to get it back in.

by:

Lock fell out after a week of use.

by:

Had a Club SW years ago. Still a good b uy.

by:

So far, so good. It is a great visible deterrent. Makes a potential thief think twice.

by:

I was impressed that I was told my order would be delayed and kept informed of the progress. Also, I was happy to receive my clubs due to the uptake of vehicles being stolen these days from trail parking lots, stores, etc., and even out of people's garages! I bought three so I could have one for the truck, the car, and the RV. Package arrived secure - real secure - without holes, etc. Everything was packaged and arrived new (I have ordered items where the product had obviously been purchased previously.)

by:

I have had the CLUB for many years, but sold my truck and left it. Purchased this lock in a replacement. I do like that you have to use the key to lock it. Using it to unlock it is pretty simple. It will do the job, just takes extra time when you place it on steering wheel.

by:

Everything came in new condition as ordered. Its a club and does what it's supposed to. Fits nicely on smaller steering wheels with smaller space.

by:

Works as it should. It arrived quickly. I like this "old school" original style club better than the newer ones that automatically lock.

  • Can Tow Dolly be Used for a 2020 Chevy Spark w/ Manual Transmission
Yes, according to the online owner's manual for a 2020 Chevy Spark, you can tow the manual (and automatic) transmission with a tow dolly like the Roadmaster Tow Dolly with Electric Brakes # RM-2050-1. This tow dolly doesn't comes with a plug for the lights and brakes so I recommend using the Pollak 7-Way # PK12706 to get everything up and running. To tow your 2020 Spark you'll need to follow these steps: 1 - Put front wheels on dolly. 2 - Shift manual transmission into 1 (first) gear. 3...

  • Should Steering Wheel be Unlocked or Locked While Flat Towing
Actually most vehicles have a steering wheel lock built into the steering column to prevent the wheel from turning when the key is off. Also, typically when a vehicle is being flat-towed you actually want the steering wheel to be unlocked so that that vehicle tracks behind the tow vehicle properly. I attached an FAQ article on flat towing that you should find helpful as well.
