Tow Dolly That Is Capable Of Hauling a 2013 GMC Acadia Front Wheel Drive
Question:
Can I tow a 2013 FWD Acadia with this trailer? I measure right at 76 inches for my wheels but have conflicting information on how wide can be with this trailer. Says 76 inches max for tires but then also says 76 for body. The body is 79 but not at the front end. That is back further by the front doors.

The Demco Kar Kaddy SS Tow Dolly # DM9713045 is able to tow vehicles with a tread width of 42-76". If you are at 76" you will be able to flat tow your 2013 GMC Acadia as long as the weight of your particular Acadia does not exceed 4,800lbs. They do take into account that the fender width is wider than the tire width which pushes out the dolly fenders to account for the added width.
We do have the Demco Kar Kaddy X Tow Dolly # DM9713093 that will fit vehicles with a tread width of 42-78" if you want to have some extra cushion in the event you get a different vehicle in the future that is slightly wider. This has the same 4,800lb weight rating as the SS above.
You will need to lock the steering wheel on your Acadia when it is loaded on the dolly. For that I recommend The Club Pedal-to-Wheel Vehicle Lock # WICL303RED.
