Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. Raw lumens represent the number of lumens that the manufacturer claims the LEDs are capable of producing. It does not include the light's drive method or the amount of light lost from the lens or reflector. Effective lumens take these factors into account and represent the number of lumens that are actually produced by the complete light assembly, not just the amount of light that the diodes are capable of producing. Stable lumens builds off the idea of effective lumens by measuring the amount of light produced after 30 minutes of usage, or once the diodes have reached their average operating temperature. These bulbs have a 3,000 raw lumen capacity per bulb and produce 1,995 effective lumens per bulb. The stable lumen capacity per bulb is 1,550 lumens.

Ellen: Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here etrailer.com and we're going to be taking a quick look at the Replacement LED Bulbs and Anti-Flicker Harness for your headlights. So these are going to be a great upgrade for our existing headlight bulbs. They're going to be a very bright light to replace and be a better option than the halogen bulbs. They are going to give you a nice, cool white color as well so it helps promote better visibility. And this kit does come with the anti-flicker harness so if your vehicle is one of those that's canvas or PWM equipped, this is going to prevent it from having any kind of flickery or shuttery effect, which can sometimes happen. So let's take a closer look at the bulbs that I'm actually going to hook these up so you can see how bright they are. So this is a plug and play application, pretty easy to get installed.
That wiring should just match up directly with your factory wiring in your vehicle. This comes with the two bulbs and then a little extension harness. So sometimes if it's a hard to reach spot, this extension can really be handy. And then we'll also have our harness for the anti-flicker. This comes with a grommet as well to plug up the housing, if necessary.
It all just plugs in together. You do want to be sure that you note which side is which for the positive and negative terminal, they are polarity sensitive. The red wire's going to be positive, black wire's going to be negative. So you just match that up along the way as you go.Going to turn this guy on, you can see our light comes on. It's a nice, cool white, as I mentioned so it's going to give you a really nice visibility at night and help to see things even farther away.
It is designed so that it's not going to throw that light into other driver's eyes. You can adjust the angle of it as well to match up with your housing so it gets where it needs to be. Going to turn the light out there, and we can go over some of the specs. They are IP67 rated, which means that they're going to be impervious to dust, completely weatherproof, so no issues with water getting in there. The effective lumen output is 1,995 lumens, that's really the number to pay attention to. It does have a raw lumen output of 3,000 lumens.
So that's kind of in a perfect world with perfect conditions, it has the potential of having 3,000 lumens. So that's why the effective lumens is really the one to pay attention to because it's more of a real world application. The stable lumens are after about 30 minutes, the output, it goes down to 1,500 lumens or 1,550 lumens. Still going to be a nice bright light for us. The color temperature is 6,500 Kelvin, which again is that cool white color that you saw. The wattage per bulb is going to be 16.5 watts. The power draw at 13 volts is 1.3 amps per bulb. The operating voltage goes between 7.5 volts and 16 volts. It is covered by a two year limited warranty, and that's pretty much all there is to it for our look at these LED bulbs and harnesses. I hope this video has been helpful in deciding if this is the right kit for you. Again, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.

Get a focused and controlled beam with no glare from your low beams with these 9006 single-beam LED headlight bulbs. Concept series bulbs feature built-in LED drivers with advanced temperature regulation. Plug-and-play installation. These worked fine in my 2022 Colorado. No brighter than the factory lights but the "right" color. Didn't need the anti-flicker harness though.
I've had the opportunity to use these LED's for about a month now and I can say they have worked great. They are exceptionally brighter than the OEM halogen bulbs with a slight blueish tint. I have tried other cheap LED's that flickered or pulsed and threw the light out everywhere, blinding oncoming traffic. These LED's have a very define cut-off line and concentrate the light appropriately. These are plug-and-play so it easy to install these in my quad headlights. I have a stock height truck so I didn't need to re-aim my headlights once I was done. I would suggest these as an upgrade from stock lights. Thanks etrailer!
They worked well, as anticipated and hoped for.
They are great. Anything better than stock lights. All the lights on my truck are LEDs now.
all good
