Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a look at this UWS Bright Aluminum Underbody Toolbox. This underbody toolbox is the perfect way to add storage space to your truck or trailer, keeping your items safe, secure, and accessible. It easily mounts above or below the bed of a flatbed truck, dump truck, or trailer body, leaving more room to haul other cargo. This box features one handed access with this stainless steel lockable T-handle for convenience and security. And as you've already no doubt noticed, two keys are included. I have one of the key already in the lock.

And so, when you lock it, that handle is not going to turn, so your items are gonna be secure. Another nice thing about this handle is it is flush when you have it folded in, so you're not gonna have to worry about that handle getting caught on anything when you have this closed and locked up. But it's very easy to unlock and very easy to open. Again, one handle up, one handed operation, and you have access to the inside of your box. Now, this drop down door opens a full 90 degrees, and these strong aircraft grade stainless steel cables are gonna fully support the door.

And again, you're gonna have easy access to the inside of your box. And this does have capacity of 5.7 cubic feet and I was able to get some smaller toolboxes here just to kind of throw in here and show you the type of space that you are going to have. Obviously, the things that I have here are in no way gonna fill this up completely. But I just kinda wanted to give you an idea of what that 5.7 cubic feet looked like. So, got some toolboxes of various sizes.

Throw in my backpack here. And again, you're gonna have a whole lot more space to work with but very usable space, and think you're gonna be able to fill this up with all sorts of tools and cargo that you're gonna need. And you can be confident that is gonna be secure when you have that closed up and locked up. There is a microseal gasket that provides protection from moisture, dust and dirt, it's gonna seal that out. And also, this unique water channel that adds to the weather-proof design.

This is an aluminum tread plate construction and it's gonna obviously be rust-proof, but it's also very durable. It has fully welded seams. And this is a more heavy duty durable box that can take abuse and constant wear and tear. Not only from you throwing in a heavier tools or heavier items, but from the road as well, since this is gonna be sitting underneath your truck bed, underneath the trailer, exposed to the roads. So, it's gonna be able to handle that kind of punishment. This weighs about 28 pounds, and the overall dimensions, we're looking at about 30 inches long by about 19 inches wide, and about 18 inches tall. And this door opening. And by the way, I wanted to mention this, this seal is a very good seal. You probably noticed a few times when I open this door, kinda get my fingers in there to pry it open just a little bit, so that indicates to you just how good this seal is in keeping the elements out. The door opening is going to measure 25.5 inches long by about 13 inches height. So that's the opening that you're going to have inside of this box. Now, this does have a limited lifetime warranty, instructions are included. And it is important to note that this does not include any kind of installation or mounting hardware. So, that is something that you would have to get separately, to best fit your application. All and all, this is a great box, a great option to consider as you're looking for a toolbox to fit underneath your vehicle, or your trailer, and you really can't go wrong with UWS's lives of boxes.
