Adam: Hi, everybody. Adam here with etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the DZ truck bed mat. So you guys might be wondering why, Adam, do I really need a bed mat for my truck I'm going to use it. It doesn't really matter what goes in the bed. I disagree, and I'm going to show you why.So we just pulled in a truck.
It's a 2020 with about 10,000 miles on it, but the whole entire bed is completely scratched, literally from the tailgate all the way up until the cab of our truck. The first thing that I noticed when I pulled this thing into the shop here was that this thing has definitely been used and abused. You guys can see all these scratches. It is an extreme amount, something that I wouldn't want my truck, even if it's a 1962, I wouldn't want my truck to have all these scratches on it.So this bed mat is going to serve a really good purpose. One, if you guys are installing anything on the inside of your truck, like today, I put on this Tonneau cover, and I literally just put the truck bed mat in before I started installing because it was really tough on my knees.
So it's going to save your knees, and also it's just going to save your truck from this disaster you see here.So this is going to be a customized size and shape for your guys's specific truck. We have a 2020 Ram 1500 here, and you guys are going to see how easily it goes in and how nicely it fits. So if you guys don't have an extra set of hands, we can manage it ourselves. I've done this a couple times. It isn't the prettiest thing, it's not the easiest, but it is definitely possible.
So we just want to make sure that the striped side is going to be facing up and the dotted side is going to be facing down.And then of course we are going to have a unique shape to this one in particular. So we want to pick the right shape and put the right side towards the cab of our truck, kind of just find where it fits in the nicest, lay it in, pretty much a done deal. So in a matter of minutes, you guys can be protecting your bed to prevent it from all that. And the nice thing about it is it really doesn't take long at all, and we are going to have about three-eighths of an inch of really high quality, highly durable Nyracord. And this is going to not really rust or corrode, obviously, because it is rubber, but it's also not going to crack or anything like that, even in the most extreme temperatures.And one thing that I like, whenever I go ahead and throw stuff in the bed of my truck, that's just real loud, and it's scratching a bunch of stuff.
And you could definitely tell a difference there. So if you do have stuff that's kind of loosely sitting around, it's going to make less noise, and it's not really going to slide near as fast or as much. Obviously, we're going to have a lot of sliding just on the bare metal when we have some tools like you see here. But up on here, we are going to have a pretty grippy surface, so it is going to help you get traction with your feet, so you don't slip when it's wet, but also whatever you guys have in here, it's not going to slide around like crazy either. And when we're talking about sliding around, really the shape of this mat, when it goes all the way up to the cab of our truck, it kind of contours to the wheel wells of our back wheels and the bed of our truck, and obviously it goes all the way back to the tailgate.It's just very, very tightly fitted to the bed of the truck, so we're not going to see any shifting if any at all. But if we do think it's going to shift a little bit, we do have some grippy surfaces on the bottom, and these are just going to kind of just help keep it into place and keep it from shifting and sliding over time. Even if we do get a little bit of water in here, it's still going to hold pretty tightly and just stay into place.So I just want to go ahead and take some time to give you guys my opinion on it. If you guys are one of those who like to just throw your bikes in the bed of the truck, this mat is definitely going to be more forgiving than just a bare bed. Also going to be a lot more forgiving than some of those spray-in liners. You'll probably get a lot of scuff marks and stuff like that over time. And then I would definitely say that this is going to be superior to the drop-in liners, one, just because it is going to be a little bit more grippy. And usually with those drop-in liners, they really don't sit very well. They kind of bubble out and maybe warp over time. This is just going to go in really simply and easily, have a great shape, and fit your bed very, very nicely.And one thing to look at when I look into what I'm going to do with the bed of my truck, usually I would always recommend doing a spray-in liner, but it does get a little pricey and not a lot of people can do that on their own. I know I wouldn't trust myself to do it on my own. This way, you just buy it, you go ahead and cut it out of the packaging, and just in a minute or two, you'll have your whole entire floor of your bed nice and protected. One thing I would add, if we're protecting the floor of the bed of our truck, might as well protect the tailgate as well. And we do have those options here at etrailer as well.Well, everybody that pretty much does it for the DZ truck bed floor mat, and hopefully this video kind of helps you guys understand what benefits you guys are going to get with a floor mat and how it sets it apart from other options that you guys would choose for the bed of your truck. Hopefully, you guys saw how badly scratched this bed is. And hopefully that makes you guys understand that you really do need to protect your bed. This bed mad is quite heavy and durable. I like how there's no need to drill into the bed for installation. Just drop it in and go! It evens the floor of the bed out nicely so loading items is super easy and they don't slide around.

2016 Nissan Frontier
Excellent Bed Mat for my 2016 Nissan Frontier with 6-foot bed. Fits very well, and is sufficiently thick, unlike a lot of the other mats I looked at. In addition to providing plenty of protection, the extra thickness has the added effect of smoothing out the corrugations in the bed. I like the durometer and finish, too - it's just grippy enough that things stay put, and not slippery when wet (like a lot of bed liners) but you can still slide cargo around when you need to. Also, the molded pattern runs lengthwise - some of the others I looked at had snaggy diamond texture, etc. It's the mat I wanted - had to wait for delivery, but it was well worth it. I've hauled everything from firewood and construction materials to welders and equipment, and this mat is just about perfect. Highly recommend and will likely buy for my next truck. Unfortunately, DeeZee does not offer a matching tailgate mat - if they did, I'd get that, too.

Its been a year and the DeeZee Mat is still working out well. No issues with weathering - hot or cold. Definitely no issues with wear. One thing I have noticed is that the mat is thick enough which is a good thing that it can tend to seal off the factory drain slots at the front of the bed easy enough to neatly cut a small notch. Not sure if thats just my truck or not. I noticed because I park on a slight incline. Certainly not the fault of the mat. Id definitely buy again, and as I said a year ago, Ill likely buy one for my next truck need to wear this one out first!.

Although this mat was cataloged for the previous generation Frontier, with just a little trimming at the tailgate and the left side wheel well (shown in photos), it fit well in my 2022 with the 6 foot bed!

It’s ok I thought it would be a custom fit had to trim off at least 1’ or more to get to fit so now I have this ugly cut live along the back of the bed but after I get my bed cover I wonder it so I guess it’ll be ok. Mainly need it to keep tools from rolling around in the bed as easily.

I checked and we did have the bed mat listed incorrectly as a fit for a 2022 Nissan Frontier. Customer Service will be in touch with you. We do have alternate bed liners that are a fit. For a 5 foot bed 2022 Nissan Frontier it would be part # A95BG and for the 6 ft bed it would be part # A45BG.

I had a mat like this for 20 years in full-size Chevys. It lasted through two trucks. When I downsized to a smaller truck I had to get another. It is near indestructible, grippy so stuff doesn’t slide around, and it can easily be removed to clean the bed floor underneath.

Bought this bed liner for my husband as a Christmas gift. It fit perfectly and we did not need to make any adjustments to it. It is very sturdy and is exactly as described. I am totally satisfied with the bed liner and with Etrailer. The entire buying experience was stress free. I will definitely use Etrailer for all my future needs.

2019 Nissan Frontier
This rubber truck bed protector is an outstanding product. Easy ordering and was delivered ahead of schedule. My 2019 Nissan Frontier Pro 4x has the 5 foot bed so trimming the length was required. Recommend using a very sharp razor knife and straight edge to get a good trim.

Works great but I have a factory/ dealer plastic bedliner Nissan Frontier 2017 6 ft bed and mat needs a little trimming to be flat no big deal close enough and that’s why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 great product works great for loads shifting

Bed mat is great, very durable, non slip and thick. The custom fit was not exact so I had to trim at tailgate and wheels. Overall happy with the purchase.

This is a nice fitting product. I've had it a year and it has held up well on the surface. I give it an average rating because I removed it one day to do a good wash of the bed and mat. I was very surprised to find a large, long crack in the mat on the bottom side. It has not gone through the top layer, just the bottom layer.

2018 Nissan Frontier
The people were immediately upfront with me and said it would take longer than usual to process my order. I said that their estimated delivery date was fine with me. They then shipped the product earlier than expected. It fit better than I could hope. The quality is excellent. I couldn't ask for better service or product. It was a 6' bed liner for Nissan Fontier.

2019 Nissan Frontier
I as very happy with the bed mat. Only problem I had is I did have to cut it to fit my bed, that was a bit difficult, but I am a 75 year old lady, so if I can do it anyone can do it. After cutting on the lines, it was still about 2 inches to long and a little wide, not enough to have to be cut, but did have to cut the two inches off the cab end. This was probably because I do have a drop-in bed liner. Something to consider if someone has a Frontier with the bed liner. Other than that, it is great. I highly recommend it. Very good quality, heavy rubber.

Just bought a new truck and got Rhino spray in bed liner. For extra protection, I purchased your custom fir bed mat. Perfect fit. No trimming needed. It was a little cool outside, so I laid boards on the mat after I installed it on the truck bed. By tomorrow it should be laying flat as a pancake.

I had to t the correct dig around on a few web sites to find the information needed to confirm the truck mat was going to fit my truck. Only on this site was there an indication that this product was for my application. They were correct. I got the right size and it was shipped in a timely manner. I am glad I found etrailer.
