Surface-mount trailer dome lights install using pre-drilled mounting holes in the housing. These lights lay flat against the trailer surface and only require a small, often pre-existing hole, for wiring. Mounting hardware is used to secure the light to the trailer.

Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at a LED dome light with the motion sensor. This light has 36 bright LEDs and 2,200 lumens for superior brightness. It would be great for your RV or enclosed trailer. Now LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights. They last longer, burn brighter, they're more efficient. With LEDs you don't have to worry about burned out filaments and you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs.
It's a three-mount hole design, so one, two, and three. It's a surface-mount installation. Mounting screws are included, and it has a real nice trim piece that covers the mount holes for a clean, finished look, that actually cover up the screw heads, and you won't even notice that. It's really nice, clean, sleek unit.It's a two-wire design, so your white wire's your ground wire, red wire's your power wire. The dimensions, starting with the overall diameter of the unit, going edge to edge this direction, measures about 5".
The overall thickness, that's how far it sticks out from the installation surface is about three-quarters of an inch, including the sensor. Again, that contains a total of 36 diodes. We're going to go and hook it up to power, that way you can see what it looks like with power running to it. We'll also turn off our overhead lights so you can see it in a low-light setting.So you can see here it sends out a very strong, consistent signal. This is a very bright LED light.
Again, a total of 36 diodes, 2,200 lumens, wattage is 18 watts, voltage, 12 volts, and amperage is 1.5 amps. Then again, the unit has the built-in motion sensor directly in the center of the light.That's going to do it for today's look at this LED dome light with the built-in motion sensor.

These lights have been a tremendous success even working to add these to other assets. They function perfectly and we have had no failures in the several applications we have deployed them.
Lights still work perfectly and are bright. I wish the timer stayed on for more than a few seconds.
Solid build. Nice bright, white light. Perfect for my coat closet. The motion sensor works well with only a very short delay to turn on the light.
A few minor things to be aware of...
There are three locking tabs that hold the trim ring onto the light. I could see them plainly, but had trouble figuring out how to remove the trim ring without damaging it. I pushed a razor blade between the ring and the body of the light on each side of the tab and pried toward the outside of the ring, and they popped right open. You could probably use two *small* screwdrivers to do the same thing.
Also, I needed to mount my light to drywall (If this isn't you, this doesn't matter). The screws that are included are not for drywall. They are much too short. I got some longer screws and found that the heads of the screws need to be very small in order for the trim ring to fit properly. So, I got the dremel and cut the heads to a smaller diameter.
These were small issues for me. I love the light and would purchase it again.

Its been a year and the light has worked flawlessly, 100 of the time. 2 thumbs up!
I purchased a 14' box trailer for my Handyman and Contracting business. Once I put my toolboxes and shelf in I quickly realized I needed lights to see everything. I purchase three of the LED Trailer Dome lights w/ Motion Sensor. They provide amazing coverage for the trailer. The best thing is they turn on automatically when you step into the trailer.
The only thing I would change about these lights is I wish they had a switch to adjust the turn-off timer. Sometimes it seems a little short, but I just have to raise my hand and they all turn back on.
Even with this, it is a definite 5 stars.

I have already installed 3 lights in my workshop ,the light they produce is awesome ,I have solar so the operating cost is zero .all I can say is ,AWESOME
Nice bright white light however doesn’t stay on very long if your not right under it.
Excellent light with high output and easy to install. Looking for a long lived high intensity light.

The lights have been a great asset to the operation with no issues. Weve ordered more for other trailers and plan for additional purchases. They provide abundant light with minimal amp draw, and are easy to install.
Product works as intend and good qualit y.

the ones that work they are ok, but one of them does not work anymore and one of the others only works occasionally
