Video Transcript for Redline Trailer Suspension - Leaf Spring Suspension - H302 Review

Today we're going to take a look at the Triple Axle Trailer Hangers for 2" wide slipper springs. These hangers are designed to suspend leaf springs from the frame of your triple axle trailer. These are designed for use with six leaf springs. Now the leaf springs we do sell separately on our website. These are designed to be used with an equalizer kit, part number AP302, or AP316 for a complete kit. Now those we do sell separately on our website, and the equalizer kits are what will include the equalizers, the bolts and the shackle straps for installing the springs to these hangers. This part includes everything shown here.

It includes the two 4 1/4" tall front hangers that have the 9/16 diameter bolt holes. The four 3 1/2" tall center hangers with the 7/8" diameter bolt holes, and then the two 5 1/4" tall rear hangers with the 5/16 diameter bolt holes. Now these hangers are designed for use on trailers with triple axles, 3,500 pound up to 8,000 pound axles. Now they do not include the components for mounting the axle to the springs. On the sizes, when they give you the sizes on these, what they're giving you, like on the front here, the front hangers, it's 4 1/4" tall front hanger. That measurement is from the center of the bolt hole to the top of the hanger, so if we get a ruler here, center to the top is going to be 4 1/4".

On the center, those are going to be 3 1/2", and same way, they'll measure from the center of the hole to the top of the hanger, 3 1/2" on all four center ones. Then the two rear ones, they're 5 1/4" tall. Same way if we go from the center to the top, 5 1/4". That should do it for the review on the Triple Axle Trailer Hangers for 2" wide slipper springs.

The equalizer you referenced item # AP316 are 10-1/8" and I have attached a picture to show the bolt spaces. When using 2" slipper springs on your triple axle trailer the distance between...

  • How to Determine Frame Width When Building Trailer with 7K Axles
I would be more than happy to help you get everything together that you need for the suspension on your gooseneck trailer for your tiny house! It sounds like you're needing the Dexter Trailer Axle w/ Electric Brakes - E-Z Lube - 8 on 6-1/2 Bolt Pattern - 95" - 7,000 lbs # 8327834-EB which has a hub face measurement of 95" and a spring center measurement of 80". • Suspension Hanger Spacing for a Triple Axle Trailer with 26-1/2 Inch Long Slipper Springs
I can give you a general estimate but the only way to get it just right is to mock up all the parts to determine the proper locations prior to permanently installing everything. On a triple axle trailer with 2 inch wide slipper springs the distance from the first and second hangers would be approximately 29-1/2 inches. From the second to third hangers it would be approximately 34 inches. And from the third to fourth hangers it would be approximately 29-1/2 inches. For this set up the center...
