No waiting for drop shipments from manufacturers not even knowing if the item is in stock. Had the shipment on my doorstep within 3 days of placing order. Shipping was included. Hidden Hitch is a known brand name, price was better than any other manufacturers, hitch is well built, great looking welds, heavy duty materials, nice thick powder coat finish with absolutely no runs however hitch will not be seen anyway, thus hidden hitch. All bolt holes lined up perfectly, bolts are large and hardened and withstand the torque specifications. This is really an overbuilt class 1 hitch meaning it will never fail. The install was super easy and very quick. Wells designed, and well hidden. The little plastic rivets on the Yaris are easily removed by gently prying out the little center tab. Just pull it out gently til it stops, not all the way. The rivet is now released and will remove easily from the hole. When ready, slide the rivet back into the hole, then press the center tab back in. The instructions mentioned that a small amount of the fascia may have to be trim to clear the hitch. I did not have to do this. It was a tight fit but I was able to push it in enough to line up the holes and fasten the rivets without trimming. It took me longer to find my sockets and torque ratchet than it took for the actual install. See attached photos.
The receiver hitch matched perfectly, was a snap to install, and has served me well. I was very happy with the speedy delivery and quality of the hitch. I recently ordered the wiring harness for my vehicle from etrailer.com and received the same great service from them.
I own a 2012 Toyota Yaris SE. This Hitch Receiver will fit it, but some extra adjustments had to be made. The exhaust pipe/muffler was pushed down by the hitch and stay touching it. I had to bring down the pipe by replacing the exhaust insulator for a bigger one and slightly bend down the part that holds the insulator. It also pushed up the plastic trim at the end of the bumper forcing it up a little. I have the option to cut it down, but if feels like I changing the air dynamic of the back of the car. I did not cut a piece off. The product is great and works better in models up to 2011. After all, I made it to work, but expect a professional to put it in place for you if you are not a handy person. I still give it a 5 star.
Great trailer hitch! We bought this to attach a cargo carrier for a 6000 mile, one month road trip and it performer flawlessly. Would recommend!
Great and fast service
I've had two hitches from Etrailer. One on a Chevy sonic and one on a Toyota Yaris. Both have been great. Product went on both the sonic and the Yaris very easily and perform as promised. I use the hitch to hold a bike rack and it works great. Great investment. Hard to imagine life without it. If you need a hitch for a bike rack for your Toyota Yaris or Chevy Sonic I would suggest this one.

I used them both this past weekend and they were exactly what I expected.
This part fit perfectly in my 2012 Yaris and was incredibly easy to install. I didn't even need to lift my car at all because the brackets were easy to reach. The hitch itself is very solid. If anything were to break when using this, it would probably be my car and not this hitch.

Solid hitch
- tie down loops could be bigger and more accessible.
- Paint isn't very tough. if rubbed by a cable for example it will chip.
- Wasn't a perfect fit but mounted up fine in 15 minutes or so.
-Would buy again if $90 or less.
On 2012 Toyota yaris. Easiest thing I've ever installed. 20 minutes. 1 jack stand and a floor jack to hold it up. Felt like I must have missed something it was so easy!
Pretty easy to install.
Took me about an hour.
But that was mainly because the two big bolts have its head and the nut is the same size and I only had one 15/16 socket so I had to use a crescent wrench on one side which isn't ideal

I just received my parts. Even the UPS driver was curious to what was in the box. So I opened and pulled the parts out and explained to him how I had a Toyota Tundra and because I commute, the gas bill was excessive. Now, with the Yaris, I get great gas mileage but, just need that little bit of extra space. Hopefully Saturday, I'll video my project and send it back in with the review. Thanks again
