I thought you might be interested in seeing the hitch after I installed it. Pretty easy install, except make sure you have all the proper tools. The more tools the easier it is to install. Trust me I've been a mechanic my entire life.

2008 Lincoln Town Car
I received the trailer hitch ,wiring kit and bolts. I was so glad the bolts were not missing.
The box was way too large and the hitch was moving around inside.
That box was way too large to fit into the trunk of my Lincoln Towncar.
After I removed the hitch from the box the hitch easily fit into the trunk of my car.
There is an excellent video of the installation from start to finish.
IT is the video showing the technician wearing red Firestone gloves.

2007 Mercury Grand Marquis
product was fine--a little heavier than necessary for the lightest rating but fit my mercury just fine. Please notify customers if Item is not in stock when they order.
The customer needs to have pretty good idea when their order might arrive. They may have already made arrangements for installation and this would preclude the need for cancellation. Luckily my hitch" just came in " when I called after seeing "shipping date pending " on the order tracking page. I wonder if I would have received my order in time had I not called. t Thanks for getting it to me quickly after I called' It prevented me from having to reschedule installation a second time.

Have not yet had a chance to install, but it appears to be the right item and complete with all installation parts, instructions sheet, etc. Fulfilling my order took about three weeks - which is not a complaint, because I know many supply chains are strained right now. Just FYI.

Mercury Grand Marquis
It is a nice frame hitch and my first direct fit for my Mercury Grand Marquis. It took an hour and a half to install by myself. Much nicer than multifit frame hitches that have 1 million bolts. Would recommend for Panther body Ford Lincoln Mercury.
