The Curt hitch you referenced, part # C12130 will fit a 1980-2010 Lincoln Town Car. It will indeed fit both of your vehicles.
This being said, a hitch is not meant to be repeatedly installed and removed or swapped between vehicles. If it is removed and installed on a second vehicle, the manufacturer recommends using new hardware. A hardware kit can be purchased by ordering part # RHK, and typing "C12130" in the part number field.
