2021 Nissan Rogue
I chose the draw tite max frame receiver because it uses 6 bolts instead of 4 bolts to attach to the frame of my 2021 Nissan Rogue. The install was done by myself and it fit perfect, would recommend this hitch receiver to anyone wanting a quality product.

It is unfortunate that it arrived this way. With the way that these are shipped to us in large pallets it can happen and I will have our Customer Service team reach out to you. For a quick fix I recommend touching up the areas with a rust resistant paint like Rustoleum.

2023 Nissan Rogue
Very well made, easy install if you have 2 people, it can be done by yourself but will take longer. This company knows they have a problem with the packaging they use. The hitch arrived with both attachment arms sticking out of the box. One arm was bent with a 3/8 inch deflection and the paint was was chipped off requiring me to touch it up before installation.The box is much too large and allows for too much movement when in transit and then they blame the freight companies for the damage. They even have an email instructing people how to straighten the hitches. That's all well and good if you have the know how to follow their directions. Thankfully my shop is setup to handle most repairs. But not everyone is that fortunate. I doubt very much if I will order from this company again.

I’m a retired foreman from a natural gas company.I’ve spent years around steel pipe ,welding etc. this hitch is made with good quality steel.the welds are very professional. Installed with a friend @15 minutes. Just laying on the garage floor..great hitch ,very easy to install .2021 Nissan rogue

This is the worst packaging ever need to paint several areas before installation, If you can't put out better packaging at least send a can of spray paint to touch up the damaged areas

Arrived damaged. Insufficient internal packaging. When you allow a heavy metal item movement inside a fiberboard box, vibration in transit will cause the edges of the item to wear through the box. The external packaging you used is sufficient to ship this hitch, but internal packaging either needs to not allow any product movement, or effectively cushion any movement between the box and the hitch.

The part was about 1/8 inch bend in and it gave me a little bit of hard time to make it fit but and the end it was well designed and the holes match perfectly , the only complain I have is that the price had change about 30 dollars cheaper and when I email Carol C with the screen shots of the website, she completely ignore it and I haven be able to get a price adjustment. Bad customer service.

Fit the car 2021 Rouge platinum., that's the main thing, all holes lined up and bolts fit, two big issues, the hitch blocks the rear hatch opening sensor, should have been built with a y style yoke coming together in the center. Also the stinger recepticle does not bend up and follow the lines of the bottom bumper trim. So it sticks out like a sore thumb. I bought a hidden hitch for my maxima that does that and gives better clearance and looks better.

The quality of the product is very good, but packaging is very poor. All the paint was ground off the corners of the hitch. I will have to touch up the paint, to help delay rust from the winter roads. Luckily the wiring kit stayed in the box and didn't fall out of one of the gaping holes in the box. The UPS driver as said all their boxes look torn up.

Clean and custom fit with no cutting or major tools required. Had install complete within 20 minutes of UPS driver drop off. No lift or Jack even needed, only a 3/4” wrench or socket is all that is needed here!

the product arrived, but the box arrived in very poor condition and the hook has some damage to the corners, as you know it is a product that costs money and should be better packaged, I want to know what I should do if I return it or what I do. I attach the photos. I think they should be more detailed with so many criticisms that are made regarding the packaging. I wait for your comments

I have purchased multiple hitches from etrailer, for myself, family, and friends and installed them, my only complaint is I always have to touch up the paint because UPS does their best to try to destroy the hitches, they are always hanging out of the boxes with just the center part of the hitch still in the box.

- Should Anti-Seize Compound be Used When Installing a Hitch?We cannot recommend using anti-seize compound when installing the Draw-Tite # DT85MR on your 2021 Nissan Rogue. Though it is rare, bolts can back out when this is used. Especially when used to attach to something that will vibrate and move around a little when attached to the frame of the vehicle. I know that sounds kind of weird, but hitches are designed to flex a little with the frame of the vehicle when going over bumps or rough roads.
