I count about 15 places where this hitch got damaged with blunt damage and scraped paint. It looks like a previously returned item with old damage and new damage from transport. Structurally it looks good, its all the surface damage
Excellent hitch. Not too bad an installation and fits well... Reasonable price
Had the boys at my neighbors Fender and Body Shop install it. Not a problem with the hitch on the Pro-Master City but more of a problem being low to the ground, so we had to go from a 8 inch riser to a 12 inch riser. Tow like a dream 2014 15 ft Trillium Outback (1,300 #) As Usual your video's are all important and I think the guy's in the shop revved it before installing.

I dont know as SHE, my gypsy daughter soon after traded her Pro Master City van and her Trillium Outback 4500 in for a Class B Thor Tallaro 20J
So far I am very pleased with the trailer hitch and wiring kit that I've purchased and installed on my new Ram Promaster City. Though I haven't actually towed anything yet it is a good quality item and the instructions for installation were very clear and easy to follow. I would recommend this kit to other Promaster City owners. It saved my lots of money compared to the dealer cost too.

Local installed cost $600, etrailer cost with excellent installation video $167 plus 2 hours of my time. Couldn't be happier.! A quick ship with customer service contacting me as soon as delivery happened. Definitely one of. My best Internet shopping experiences!

This install is fairly straight forward even if you are only moderately mechanical. It is absolutely simple if you are experienced mechanically. The power wire should really a bit longer 6-12" which would make the path to the battery slightly less critical so pay attention not to wander around under the vehicle with that wire. If you are doing the wiring at the same time as the bumper it makes the wiring much easier. Basically, there are just a lot of steps. I found a couple of finicky body part fasteners a bit of a challenge to remove and replace. Just slow down...take a deep breath.
My install was on a City "wagon" which has some interior panels not shown in the video but the idea for locating the module is the same.
I would definitely recommend doing this yourself.
Installed receiver on a 2016 Ram Promaster City. The hitch fit perfectly and the quality seem to be very good.
Watch the video before starting and have it available to review during the process.
I installed the recommended wiring harness at the same time and only had two snags. The first was that at some point in its life this van went over an object large enough to bend the drivers side bumper bracket. This made it difficult to line up the lower attachment bolt. Added 20 minutes while I straightened that and used a C clamp to hold it together till I could get the bolt to thread. The second snag was after everything was reassembled the left rear turn signal wouldnt work. I traced this down to one of the pins in the connector plug not being correctly seated causing it to slide back in its slot rather than mating with my tail light harness. I carefully pulled on that pin with needle nose pliars until I felt it click into position. Plugged it back in and every thing works.
The bent bracket was not the fault of Etrailer. I suppose the loose connector pin was their fault but it was an easy fix so all is well that ends well.
The hitch and wiring were custom made, and the video instructions were clear and helpful.
The product was delivered as scheduled. The box was mangled as usual. Almost all my boxes from etrailer deliveries are mangles, the product was pretty much undamaged except few scratches. I was able to install the hitch as per video. The video is key. I did have to make a modification. There were two studs that was not described in the video I had to cut off to make the hitch fit. Other than that, it is as described. I have had good experiences from etrailer through the years so I keep ordering from them. Good job guys.
It fit perfectly with no additional modifications ÂĽ thick materials ,customer service very professional and really fast response,box came a little damage but cant control shipping and handling companies
Easy install if your inclined to screwdrivers and bolts. The T27 was a pain to find, Go straight to the auto parts store as the Big Box shops will want you to buy a full kit. Also you will need an extension to remove the hidden t27 tucked up under the wheel well bumper junction. Other then that its easy. Have fun with your Promaster City and may your towing be easy.
Received my new hitch today. The quality looks impressive and I look forward to installing soon. The online installation video was well done and gave me the confidence to order and install myself. The hitch was priced well and arrived within a week of placing the order.

Product arrived in a poorly packed box. It appears UPS had to tape the box closed in several places. It was a good thing it was a hitch in the box and only one item, if it was several pieces in the box I am sure something would have fallen out or been damaged. The hitch should have been packed better.
After inspecting the product and watching the video to install, we jumped in and it only took us 45 minutes to complete.

This product was easy to install but it was a pain to remove my bumper but that was the van not the product once I got the bumper off and watched the video which was dead on and I didn't have access to a lift but it was still very easy to do. Another great product.

Only thing I can say is they need to package heavy objects better so the sharp corners don’t break the box apart.
Hitch arrived in four days . Hitch broke through package in several places and chipped the paint. Otherwise in great shape. I would recommend customers use etrailer .

It took me 1 1/2 hours to do it and it turned out great. The dealer wanted a lot of money and it only cost me a quarter of their price with this website. I love it and you will too.

Excellent product; the trailer video was most helpful for the install. Everything fit well, no requirement to "cut or modify" any portion of the vehicle and secured fine. Product looks good.
I installed this in about an hour and a half with my 18 year old daughter. It fits well on my '17. It's been a year and I use it to transport my mountain bikes to the trail. The paint still looks great. I would highly recommend
The first hitch I ordered ended up being out of stock and Nancy called me over the weekend and got it sorted out. Shipping time was fast as I got it Thursday and it shipped out Monday! Good customer service!
product looked good. Packaged poor, hitch was busting out side of box. No packing material in box.
After a year of limited use, hitch has held up well. Install was not too difficult.

I will have our customer service team reach out to you. I recommend touching up the affected places on the hitch with a rust resistant paint. This will help to prevent rust and also you will have it on hand for regular hitch maintenance.
