2008 DodgeAvenger

Just installed this along with the wiring harness on my 2008 Dodge Avenger R/T. Was very simple and easy to install. Did not have to drop the exhaust down. I was a little skeptical about fishing the bolt through but I was impressed on how easy it really was. Anyone that is mechanically inclined can put this system on in no time at all. The harness was very simple to install. The dealership wanted $570 to install on my vehicle. Way happy i went this route.

Product was easy to install and I am happy to report I have not had one issue with the harness or the hitch. Works the way it should work without any issue.

  • Trailer Hitch Receiver and Other Parts to Tow a Trailer with a 2010 Chrysler Sebring Convertible
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11081 is confirmed to fit the 2010 Chrysler Sebring sedan but not the convertible model. For the convertible use Draw-Tite # 24871 that is confirmed to fit. If you're going to be towing a trailer with the Sebring then you'll need trailer wiring as well. Use # 118444 which plugs in behind both tail lights. Also the recommended ball mount is the Draw-Tite # 3594. It gives you 4 inches of rise. The compatible hitch ball is # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch ball...

  • Hitch Compatibility with Dual Exhaust on 2008 Chrysler Sebring Convertible
The Curt Class I receiver you mentioned, part # C11081 is compatible with the Sedan model only. Draw-Tite tells me that their Class I receiver # 24871 is a fit for the 2008 Sebring Convertible, regardless of the exhaust set-up. To complete your towing set-up, you might also need the following: Vehicle wiring harness with 4-pole trailer connector, part # 118444 Drawbar # 3594 Pin and Clip # PC2 1-7/8 inch trailer ball, part # 19256 or 2 inch trailer ball, part # 19258 To see installation...

  • Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2009 Chrysler Sebring Convertible for a Bike Rack
The Curt trailer hitch, # C11081, will only fit the sedan models, but I would recommend the Draw-Tite trailer hitch, # 24871, over the Curt hitch any way. The reason is that the Draw-Tite hitches undergo additional voluntary testing and you do not have to use a stabilization strap for bike racks or cargo carriers like you do with the Curt hitch. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to view. This is a Class I trailer hitch which means only certain bike racks will...
