Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today I'm gonna take a look at the Shocker Impact Hitch with the two and a half inch shank, and an adjustable drawbar mount for farm applications. It has a 12,000 pound gross towing weight capacity. Now this is a shock absorbing drawbar mount, uses the bumper stop technology to reduce road shock, provides a more comfortable towing experience. Basically the channel mouth pivots right on this bolt right down here, up against the dual bump stop right up here at the top, and it absorbs any road shock, provides a nice smooth tow. Also, if you notice on the end here of this pivot bolt, it does have a grease cert fitting.

Allows you connect a grease gun to it and pump grease in there for lubrication. It is a channel style mount. It does include this drawbar attachment that has a one inch diameter hole to accommodate a variety of towing needs. Now this is not designed for use with a hitch ball. The channel mount will also work with all Shocker hitch ball mounts and attachments, including standard mount, drop mounts, pintle hook and more.

All of those we do sell separate on our website. The inside width on this channel is three and three quarter inches. Now this one here includes the included drawbar attachment which I mentioned, so it's perfect for towing hay wagons, cultivators, sprayers, and other farm applications. The solid heavy duty adjustable channel you can see here will provide seven holes. Gives you a range of adjustability to tow trailers of various height.

The distance between those adjustment holes center to center, is one inch. Now with this drawbar mount, right now I have it in the lowest or the maximum drop position, which is gonna get you about five and a quarter inches. And that's measured from the top of the shank here to the top of the ball platform. If you raise this up into the highest position, it'll get you a minimum drop of about one and a quarter inches. And it uses these two large pins with the large rings on it with the clips, makes it very easy, all you have to do is pull your two clips out, pull these pins out, and that'll allow your drawbar mount to be positioned in whatever height you need for your application.

And then just install the pins, clips back in, and you're all ready to go. Now this is a grade 50 steel plate construction, uses cold wound steel shank, provides maximum durability. Now, if you notice on the shank, it has the two hitch pin holes here. When you do slide this into your two and a half inch hitch receiver, you do need to connect it by putting a pin and clip through here. Now that is not included, we do sell those separate on a website. The diameter on these holes is five eighths of an inch, so you do wanna make sure to use your pin that has a five eights inch diameter pin and clip. This does have a nice premium powder coat finish on the shank, the channel mount and the drawbar. It is shock blasted and powder coated to prevent rust. And this part is made in the USA. Again, the application, this is designed to fit two and a half inch by two and a half inch trailer hitch receivers. Gross towing weight capacity of 12,000 pounds, and a tongue weight capacity of 1200 pounds.
