Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the shocker impact hitch with the two inch shank and the adjustable cushion drawbar mount for farm applications. This has a 12,000 pound gross towing weight capacity. Now this shock absorbing draw ball mount will use bumper stop technology to reduce any road shock and provide a more comfortable towing experience. The channel-style mount right here includes this cushion drawbar attachment that I use as a one inch hole to accommodate a variety of towing needs.
Now it does use a dual bump stop right here on the channel mount. This will absorb a lot of your road shock, creates a nice smooth tow. And then the four cushions. You can see two on each side of the drawbar. This will also help cushion the connection.
Now this is not for use with a hitch ball. This is just designed to attach a drawbar tool. So this is perfect for towing hay wagons, anhydrous tanks, and other form applications. It is a nice, solid, heavy-duty adjustable channel, provides seven holes right up and down here with a seven inch range of adjustability to tow trailers of various heights. The maximum drop you'll get which is this position it's in right now is about four inches.
If you flipped it over and used it in the rise position, the maximum rise will get you about three inches. Now the distance between these adjustment holes is one inch center to center and the inside width on the channel is three and three quarter inches. This is designed to work with all the Shocker Hitch ball mounts and attachments, including the standard mount, drop mount pintle hook and many other ones that we do sell separately on our website. This is a nice Grade 50 steel plate construction. Cold-rolled steel shank provides maximum durability.
And if you notice in the shank it has two hitch pin holes. The diameters of those hitch pin holes are 5/8, 7 inch. It does have a nice premium powder coat finish on the channel mount and a nice zinc plated finish on the cushion drawbar. If you notice the pins that hold the drawbar attachment, they are a large, easy, they're very easy to remove. They're large rings that make it very easy to grasp with all your hand and your fingers in there. So there's no more fumbling with any small hitch pin heads. The rings do not collapse. As you can see, they stay in that open position. And over here they do use the nice large safety clips that makes securing clips effortless. So you can just pop them right off, slide out your pin. And then when you slide your pin back in, just line it up with the hole and then push your clip right in there. Very easy to remove and easy to install. These parts are made in the USA. Few specs on this again, the application fits two inch by two inch trailer hitch receivers, and the gross towing weight capacity is 12,000 pounds. But that should do it on the review of this Shocker Impact Hitch with the two inch shank and the adjustable cushion drawbar mount for farm applications..
