This replaced a couple of broken latches on tack compartment doors on an older horse trailer, so as can be expected, the mounting holes were not a perfect match. I purchased a used RV, it was delivered without a key. I called Gander Mountain/ Camping World and they told me they could not find the key. They told me to call a lock smith. I called the lock smith and they said they do not replace everything locks. The lock smith told me to go to Gander mountain to have lock replaced. I found a similar lock on etrailer and my neighbor put it on for me. He had to shave the lock to get it to fit. I gave it 4 stars because it had to be shaved down with a machine that I did not have. The lock works and I am extremely happy. I would have been even happier if Gander Mountain would have fixed the RV lock before they sold it and delivered the trailer to me. I am just glad the lock is fixed .1314752

My experience ordering from etrailer was great however, the handle did not fit in my older trailer and I'm unable to return it as I opened it. Also, I was a bit diassapointed that it did not come with any screws.611004

The hardware isnt included because the needed hardware will depend on what the door its being mounted on is constructed of and how thick it is.

I put them on a 2008 chevy c4500 shuttle bus wheel chair doors. I wish I had gotten both keyed the same but I don't remember seeing the option. The mount holds where a little off but it worked and I wish it had came with gaskets. They seem like quality parts.1242033

A little modification was needed to fit perfectly, it was simply cut off an 1/8 on the square section to allow the unit to sit completely.

Great product, as seen in the pictures. Works well and the customer is happy. This went on a 1992 seagrave pump fire unit.
