Today we're going to be taking a look at the Paneloc left hand spring latch. The spring latch can be used for a variety of applications. It's reliable and used primarily on hinged doors and panels. This would be great for gates, trailer tail gates and other lightweight doors. The unit's going to feature smooth, trouble free action. It's got a really nice design to it, it feels really great, and it's very easy to use and operate.

It's going to provide easy access and secure closure. It does feature the cone style pin end, and it's going to have the tension tempered spring that provides positive pin release and return. At the end of the spring is going to be a small C ring. That C ring prevents spring over travel and snagging. It's going to feature the solid mounting base, so there's no pre-drilled holes.

That just means that there's a variety of mounting options. You can drill holes in there and you can screw it down, you can rivet it, or you could also weld it, when it comes to the installation. It's a steel construction with a zinc plated finish, so it's going to do a great job at resisting rust and corrosion. Pin diameter is a quarter of an inch. The extension, that's how far the pin extends past the body, it's going to offer a half inch extension. The body length, that's going to give us a measurement of two and three quarters of an inch.

The body width, that's going to measure around an inch and a quarter. Then, the overall length of the unit from edge to edge is around three and three quarters of an inch long. That's going to do it for today's look at the Paneloc left hand spring latch.
