Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this steel butt hinge. Now this is a nice durable steel hinge with an unplated mill finish. This will either weld on or bolt on to allow you to support your cabinet, door, or panel. Now this is gonna be a great option for commercial and residential applications because it is very sturdy and durable.
You can see it does rotate 270 degrees for full opening and closing motion. Our measurements, this is right at three inches wide by three inches tall. Our pin diameter is 3/16 of an inch and our knuckle length you can see there, right about 3/4 of an inch. If you are planning on using this in a bolt-on installation, you will have to drill out the holes that you need. This is a solid plate on both sides.
But that way you have the ability to drill those holes where you need them to match your current setup or your needs. The hinge at a good price compared to elsewhere.
It’s heavy duty and will handle the steel doors that I am welding to.
A few less stars the pin pean over was just ok and the edges need deburing.
