Jake: Hey guys, it's Jake here at etrailer. Today we're going to take a look at the Brophy utility shelf for e-track. The shelf is going to hold a variety of different things. Here you see we have a few hand tools on here. It's going to mount in the track of your e-track or x-track. The shelf is going to work in many different applications, such as in a trailer, in your garage at home, or in your work space, although I would not recommend hauling any tools like we have here while it's mobile in your trailer.
That's why they make it so easy to remove from the x-track. Let's go ahead and show you that now.You can remove it from the e-track or x-track by pulling back on your tabs, and removing the shelf. You can just set this pretty much anywhere. The first thing I noticed when I picked up this shelf is it does have some weight to it, so it's going to hold up over the years. It's going to have a nice diamond plate pattern, so it's going to hide some of those scratches, dents and dings it might get over time.
It's going to have a nice, black powder coat finish, to help resist rust and corrosion. Let me go ahead and show you how to put it. You just pull back on your two tabs, insert it in your slots, go up first and then slide it down into place.When those two tabs lock, you're not going to be able to take it out. That's why it's safe to travel in this position. It's going to be 10 inches by 18 inches.
It's going to be plenty of space to be able to hold multiple tools. Now when you find yourself needing more space for your tools, or a better way to organize them in a more permanent way, we do have more tool organizers here available. Now where I find the shelf being most useful is if you need something to hold your drink while you're doing a job, or if you need a charging station, you can always mount a charging strip up here on the wall above it, and use it to charge your phone or any tools that you might have.

Easily reposition shelf anywhere along track to maximize storage options.Disappointing. The product was far from what was pictured. It showed a diamond plate facia, what i got was plain. It also showed a badge on it which to me gave it a finishing touch, this one delivered had no badge. Im a welder and couldve welded 2 e tracks to some plain steel for a lot le$$. Those missing qualities is what i was paying up for. Im building a showy overland van, DETAILS MATTER!!!!
