Custom, power towing mirrors replace the factory mirrors on your vehicle. The mirrors telescope out to extend your lines of sight. The built-in spotter mirrors reduce blind spots, and the heated glass clears frost and ice.

Note: The power remote capability and heated glass of these mirrors will work only if your vehicle already has those functions.
These telescoping towing mirrors replace your OEM side-view mirrors and provide the extended view needed for safe towing. Now you can change lanes, merge, and pass other cars with confidence, even with a trailer in tow. The mirror face on each custom mirror can be pulled out to give you an extended field of vision for towing. Simply push the mirrors back for regular use. The entire housing of each mirror also conveniently folds toward your vehicle for easy parking or maneuvering in tight spaces.

Custom, power towing mirrors replace the factory mirrors on your vehicle. The mirrors telescope out to extend your lines of sight. The built-in spotter mirrors reduce blind spots, and the heated glass clears frost and ice. These towing mirrors were exactly what I wanted. They fit my 2001 GMC Yukon XL perfectly, utilizing the existing hardware for adjustments and defrost. They extend easily (manually) when towing our pontoon boat, and collapse (manually) against the vehicle when going through a car wash. I should have purchased these years ago, instead of waiting until one of the original ones broke!
Love the mirrors, exactly what I needed. ETrailer would get 5 stars if not for a bit of a fit problem. Both sides fail to make contact with the window molding at the top of the triangle (pics). A separation angle begins just above the main body and pulls further away from the window molding to the tip of the triangle. The passenger side is gapped worse 1/4" than the driver side but both will undoubtedly allow water seepage into the door frame. Would hate to have to caulk these things but tightening and shimming with washers has not worked to change angles at top.Thinking over solutions to save this install.
Installed both mirrors in under 10 mins. Direct fit for my 02 chevy duramax 2500hd and they look great. These are a huge improvement over my stock mirrors. I can see around my trailers now when I tow. These also give me more view when not towing. Thank you.
These are expensive but worth it. I looked at others that were cheaper but the fit was poor. These fit like OEM. Very nice, good quality, easy install. When installing pull the trim triangle off and see if the wire connector is right there. If it is, no need in removing door trim panel. Unless you drop the nuts in there! Highly recommended and thank you etrailer for quick shipping and clear advice on fitment.

Never regretted buying these. I’ve done lots of towing and they help with driving and backing. A few times I’ve been happy they can “suck in” when not towing. I have always felt that the detents are slightly off as one reviewer stated. But hasn’t been a big issue. I can still adjust and see fine.
Looks great an simple to install. And great vision of my toy hauler thanks
Great service from etrailer and excellent mirrors. Install was easy. Did NOT have to remove door panel, just the triangle cover over the mirror area. The mirrors are steady at highway speeds when extended. Pays to pay for the good ones!
I’m not a mechanical type of person but these mirrors were super easy to install. The installation took less than 30 minutes and best of all, the mirrors worked as advertised.
These could be excellent. As it is they're serviceable.
What would make them excellent? Adjustment of the "detent" for the folding mechanism. As it stands the left/right adjustment is marginal on the driver side and out-of-range on the passenger. It's still ok in that the bottom, convex part of the mirror (manually adjusted) makes sure you have the visibility range you need, but I'd really like to be able to set the flat-section aim point on the passenger side to be centered left/right where I want it rather than where the manufacturer placed it, especially since the top part is flat mirror and not convex.
Due to the distance between the driver seat and outside mirror exactly where you have the driver seat makes a HUGE difference in terms of the area that is viewed with the outside mirror. That's why manufacturers went to convex glass on the passenger side for essentially ALL vehicles. But without convex glass in the top right side you really need that adjustment range to get it where you want it, and having the detent not-adjustable materially detracts from that and biases it outward to a fairly serious degree. There's no way to adjust the detent that I can find in the instructions and a close examination shows no way to do it either. That's a bummer as adjustment of that detent on BOTH sides would make these nearly perfect (I'd like more range on the driver side too, but it's not as critical due to the shorter distance from the operator to the mirror.)
Other than that, they're great and a major improvement over the stock mirrors in terms of towing, especially since you can extend them. Installation is trivially easy; you don't need to remove the door card, just the little triangle trim piece -- be careful not to drop the nuts on the end of the studs into the door and you can install these in 5 minutes per side.
Other reviewers have said they "bounce" a bit more than stock. Well, yes they do; they're quite a bit further out from the body, so that's to be expected.
The one other note is that some of these trucks had factory *dimmed* mirror glass (tied to the auto-dim on the rear-view mirror); the glass in these is heated but not dimmable, so that function is lost. Not a big deal in my experience.
These mirrors work perfect. They are made well, fit well, easy to install and make it so much easier to see when towing my enclosed car trailer.
The only thing keeping me from giving them 5 stars, is that they don't sit level when mounted. They angle upward a little, but that's a small price to pay for the build quality.
I had strap on mirror extenders before these but I hated driving through city traffic with the camper on. On longer road trips I would sometimes drive an extra hundred miles to avoid cities. I love the better view with these new mirrors, they make lane changes in traffic a breeze.
I have a 2002 truck so I did not have to remove the door panel which made installation a snap. Instructions were great.
I have found all the etrailer products I have bought to be great so I go shopping there first.
Order arrived when promised. Super easy to click and follow order across country to Oregon. I watched an installation video before I received order so it was super easy to replace mirrors. It only took 15 minutes and job was done. New mirrors plugged right in to old harness and adjustment worked perfectly.
Excellent mirrors. Far better than the Power Vision mirrors, which recently failed, that I installed on this truck years ago. 20 minutes installation time.
As usual with Etrailor, excellent product description, perfect fit and great service. Plus, frequent updates on shipping status.
Super easy installation. Good quality. Nice fit. Ordering and shipping/tracking was great.
I found exactly what I needed for my truck. I bought them and they arrived within a couple of days. I was extremely satisfied with the installation, on how easy it was to install by myself. Thank you so much, etrailer.com!!
These mirrors were a bolt on replacement from the stock mirrors and were quick and easy to install!
Im neutral at this point. Truck has been in shop being body worked as soon as its painted well be installing them.
Great view can see a lot more with these mirrors only thing I wish is that mirrors didn’t shake going down the road not bad enough to replace just more then stock ones

I reached out to the manufacturer about the fitment issue that you are experiencing. They had the suggestion to make sure that you made sure to rotate or level the mirrors before tightening down the nuts. I wanted to see if you could retry installing the mirrors to see if that makes a difference.
