Can The Detent On The K-Source Extendable Towing Mirrors # KS62139-40G Be Adjusted?
Question:
I’ve installed the mirrors on my 2002 Chev Tahoe and they work great. One problem I’ve noticed after use is that the factory detent setting for the passenger mirror is off. I can see what I want but have to change my seating position to do so. Is there a way to change the detent setting to make viewing more comfortable? Mirrors are a vast improvement from the OEM mirrors.

Expert Reply:
I reached out to K-Source who were able to verify that there is no way to adjust the detent for their Extendable Towing Mirrors # KS62139-40G on your 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe. While the mirrors themselves can be adjusted the detent which holds the mirror from folding cannot be changed.
