Custom-Fit Towing Mirrors

Easily extend your field of vision and reduce blind spots with these CIPA slip-on towing mirrors. By adding them to your OEM side-view mirrors, you can see beyond the end of your trailer. This will allow you to safely and easily change lanes, pass, and park with a trailer in tow.

Each of these mirrors is molded to perfectly match the contours of your factory side mirrors. Simply slide the mirrors over your side-view mirrors and use the custom-formed, felt-covered wedges to hold the mirrors in place. Each wedge wraps around the inside edge of your OEM mirror and can be tightened onto the mirror with an easily accessible hand knob.

The mirrors also let you retain use of the features on your factory mirrors. Cutouts in the towing mirrors line up with the turn signals, puddle lamps, LED spotlights, and BSDS camera on your factory mirrors. The add-on mirrors will not obstruct the factory mirror faces, and they will not interfere with adjustments to your factory mirrors.

The right passenger mirror will not adjust easily and the mirror is popped out of its bracket.

I am sorry that the right-hand mirror is not adjusting way that it should and that the mirror has popped out. Would you be able to send a picture of the mirror?

They are terrific! Visibility is awesome!

by:

This was an excellent purchase. It was easy to install and looked good on our vehicle. We did not find any reason to worry about them falling off and it provided excellent visibility around our trailer.

by:

Installed CIPA mirror Slide-On Mirrors in minutes. Extremely easy and very streamlined. I wish all products were this user friendly? Thank-You etrailer for supplying a quality product!

by:

I like that the mirrors easily slip on the existing, mounted mirrors of our Ford truck. A minor disappointment is the little tabs that hold the mirror in place are loose, i.e., when disassembled the mirror and tab are separate which sounds minor but one still has to make sure they stay together when stored. The mirror is a relatively small. It was difficult to adjust. The amount of pressure to move the mirror was to the point I thought I was going to break it. Our trailer is a bit wider than most (as I understand) and thus I wish the mirror extended a bit more, a couple of inches would be nice. All in all they are a good value. The pluses outweigh the minuses.

by:

Loved the service; not sure about the mirror. Installed it once and it creased my mirror back.

by:

My purchase was what I ordered, fit perfectly and easy set up. Does not look like a cheap add on to your mirror. Have used now a few times and stays on, does not dance all over if you hit a bump in the road I was impressed. Emails on its destination to track, package arrived on time. Highly recommend!

I am very satisfied with this product. The mirrors fit like a glove on my existing mirrors and are simple to remove and install. I would definitely recommend, have had no issues.

2018 Ford F-150

these mirrors work great. they just slide on over your mirror. the only problem is lining up the wedge to secure the mirror. my daughter used these and lost the wedge but not mirror.

by:

They work great. The only problem I have is one of the screws that hold it on is feeling like it will break soon.

by:
2017 Ford F-150

Fit's my 2017 F-150 like a glove. I just put them on last night. My only concern is that to adjust the mirrors is pretty tough, like almost like I feel I'm going to break the adjustable thingy behind the mirror, but I'm guessing they will ease up with use.

Campin H.

They’re still doing great. One of them was difficult to adjust but a little silicone spray and it can now pivot on its ball joint just fine.

by:

Didn’t fit my 2021 F150 that has cameras on the bottom of the mirrors near the puddle light

Etrailer Expert

Katrina D.

2/7/2024

That is a bummer that this does not fit the 2021 Ford F150. I do see, however, that part # KS69NQ is showing to be a confirmed fit for your vehicle. These towing mirrors will provide access for your puddle lights and cameras to be useful again. Please keep in mind that these K-Source mirrors will not fit the OEM extendable mirrors, so as long as you don't have the extendable mirrors, you should be golden.

by:

I LOVE the stability of these mirrors while towing at freeway speeds. Rock solid with no vibration, making it easy to see all I need at a quick glance. Easy on and off, they don’t obstruct my built in mirror lighting. A perfect fit for my F150, it’s the next mirror I’ll buy when I upgrade my tow Vehicle as well.

by:
2015 Ford F-150

Just needed a little more side and rear view. This should work well.

by:

These worked great on 2020 F150 Lariat. Retained all functionality (puddle lights, BLIS, defrost, folding), though when fully folded they scrape the molding at the bottom of the window. No vibration at speed (up to 65). Left mirror provided good view of vehicles behind camper trailer (19'); could not see vehicles behind trailer on right mirror (would need greater extension from cab which isn't possible). Fairly difficult to reposition but for one driver only needs to be done once. I put clear tape on OEM mirror prior to installing these, just as further protection against marring. No apparent marring in (only) 60 miles traveled thus far. Very easy to install and remove. As some reviews indicated a mirror flying off at speed, pay close attention to tightening the nut, and check by pulling the mirror outward (as if trying to remove it); it should stay firmly attached while pulling fairly stoutly outward. I would then repeat this check at several stops. So far am very happy considering the look, functionality, and price point.

by:

Works great

Oh, my. Two driver side mirrors certainly wont do you any good. I will have our customer service team reach out to you about this.

by:

These towing mirrors fit perfectly over both of my 18MY F150 mirrors. They gave me sufficient view of what vehicles were behind me which gave me a more confident feeling when towing.

The passenger side mirror has something wrong with how the mirror connected with its body which made it very difficult to adjust properly. It took quite a bit of force to get the mirror to move and then it would pop too far. The driver's side adjusted like a dream. I should have sent the passenger side back for replacement but I finally got it adjusted to where I wanted it and was content.

So these mirrors rode on my truck from Michigan to Alaska down to Washington State and back. 15,000 miles in all sorts of weather, rain, sleet, snow, hail, a wind storm. All through this the mirrors rode as steady as the truck's regular side view mirrors.

Only once did one fall off my truck as we were traveling. We made it back to Washington and were driving at 45 mph and the mirror flew off but I was able to retrieve it. The body was cracked but with some duct tape I put it back on it rode there with no problem at all for the trip back to Michigan. Why it came off is no fault of the mirror design. The mirror is held in place with a backside screw that is driven tightly against a plastic wedge that comes with the mirror. We took the mirrors off when we took the truck through a car wash in Whitehorse. My wife was not aware of the wedge so it was lost in the wash. I remounted the mirror without the wedge. It rode fine all the way to Alaska and down to Washington where the mirror finally popped off. Maybe I should have checked to make sure the screw was tight every so often but I never did. I finally ordered replacement wedges in Washington and etrailer was able to ship them quickly and directly to the camp I was at.

If it was not for the adjustment issue of the passenger side mirror I would rate these as five stars. I definitely plan to purchase the same model passenger side mirror to replacement the original one this spring.

We just purchased a 2020 Ford F-150 Platinum to pull or 2023 Grand Design Imagine trailer. We ordered the Cipa mirrors and they fit perfectly!! Both sides!!
Thank you “etrailer” for making our camping experience more enjoyable!!

by:

Easy to install. Snug fit, perfectly molded. Highly recommended. They certainly help see around the sides of my trailer. They have an open space for your mirror turn signals as well.

by:

THEY WORK AND FIT GREAT, SO FAR 5,000 MILES ON THEM AND NO ISSUES.

by:
2016 Ford F-150

Perfect fit, looks great. Does not look like it is an add-on as most of the extension do.

The extensions have been used around 20 times and have been holding up great. No issues at all.
