Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this VIAIR air down gauge. This is an air down gauge that will allow you to let the air out of your tires for your off-road adventures. This is a manual operation, so you are going to have to continually monitor the pressure yourself and then stop it when it's reached the pressure that you're wanting. This is gonna be different from other models that function automatically. So you can just set the desired pressure level, and then it will automatically shut off once it's reached that set level.

But of course, with those kinda higher features, you are going to typically pay a higher price. So this is more of a basic model. You just hook up to your tire valve and then let out air until it reaches the level that you want. It does have this integrated gauge that's going to allow you to monitor the air pressure. And it is very accurate, so you can trust that it's going to let you know where you're at.

And keep in mind this model isn't, this style isn't gonna be as fast as other styles that allow you to remove the valve core. Obviously, that lets a lot of air out very quickly. So this is gonna be a little bit slower, but a benefit to this style is that you're not gonna have to worry about losing the valve core with this type of unit. So it is gonna be a little bit safer for you. You can see we do have this hose.

It's gonna give us about 8 1/2 inches to help us connect to valve stems, make it a little bit easier for us. The twist-on chuck is gonna be very easy to use, to get connected to your valve there on your tire. And they do include this storage pouch. It's going to protect your unit when you're not using it. You can very easily store that in your glove compartment or in the other storage area under your seat, that sort of thing.

So when it's time to go off-roading, you can very easily pull that out, get it hooked up, set the pressure where you want it. So that's gonna complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.
