Hi there, haulers. Today, we're going to be taking a look at Erickson's Cinch Straps, these come as a quantity of two. We're using ours today to hold our ramps to the side of our trailer but if we had some more equipment here, you can pick up as many sets as you need to secure the rest of your items. And these straps are just a very simple, basic strap, it has a very simple buckle on it. It's not a cam style, this is something you'd find on a book bag. The strap is an inch wide and it's six feet long, so you'll have two of those and you can actually tie these together if you needed to, to get a little bit more length out of them.
So it is nice that you could get 12. Maybe not 12 entirely because you have to use some on the strap, but close to 12 feet by adding them together for a single strap.The strap is constructed of a polyester webbing and these aren't real heavy duty straps, these are just your light duty strap to hold things in place. If you're looking for a heavier duty strap, I'd recommend etrailer's cam buckle straps, they're going to have a higher working load and break strength. And they're going to be quicker to attach and the cam buckle is a stronger attachment than the plastic buckle that's on here. And these are great for all of your light duty applications.

The sturdy polycarbonate slide buckles are easy to use, and the polyester strap webbing is durable.I plan on doing a road trip on my Harley Davidson in June, the straps will be used to secure my clothing dry bags on my bike during the trip.
These are "light duty" straps. Maybe to tie down a ladder or smaller object on your vehicle roof rack. Not appropriate for kayaks and surfboards. At only 6', their usefulness is limited. The overall quality is good and these are a good value. They are not comparable to the $30 Thule straps by any means. I wish there was a heavy duty strap offered with a nylon buckle, as the metal buckles tend to corrode, especially around salt water environments.
Mostly happy with the product. Shipping time was great. My only complaint is that four 6x30 bolts, nuts and washers were missing. Went to another store and bought some. I figured this would be faster than telling etrailer.com and waiting for them through the mail.
Built a top center consul pet box for our small dog to travel in on long trips and the Cinch Straps were the perfect item to secure box to center consul .....Thank You

Items arrived as scheduled. Just exactly what I needed for my project. I wanted these straps to secure a vacuum cleaner inside my motor home and they worked perfectly. Great price also.
