Weld-On Heavy Duty Towing Hooks from Buyers Products are made of drop-forged steel for grade 43 chain attachment. The hook is designed so a chain will catch and not slide through it. The 5/16" hook has a working load limit of 3,900 lbs.

Today we're taking a look at the five sixteenth inch drop forged weld on heavy duty towing hook. This weld on heavy duty towing hook is made of drop forged steel, it's very strong and very durable, has the plain finish on it, it is designed for use with grade 43 chain, the hook is designed so the chain will catch and not slide through it.Working load limit on this unit is 3900 pounds. A few measurements I wanna go over with you real quick, starting with the opening right here, so I took a measurement from inside edge to inside edge and got a width opening of three eights of an inch wide, and then I took a measurement from the very back of this portion here, all the way out to the edge of the hook and got a measurement of one and five eights inches.Now, overall, as said it goes in this direction, so from this point here to this point back here is about two and a half inches. And then going this direction, edge to edge, outer edge to outer edge, so from this point here, to right over here, that's about two inches, and the overall thickness is about nine sixteenths of an inch thick. That's gonna do it for today's inaudible 00:01:15 with the five sixteenth inch drop forged weld on heavy duty towing hook.

added these hooks to the bucket and forklift frame on my 40 HP compact tractor. they let me secure loads and lift loads without have to worry about chains slipping and damaging the tractor or the load.
