Today we're going to be reviewing part number CAM43677. This is a Camco Fixed Height Platform Step. It's made from a sturdy aluminum construction. The platform step is going to give you an extra boost into your RV or hard to reach areas. It's going to make it an ideal unit for your RV, your home or even in your trailer. The legs will actually fold under for compact storage and easy set up, so I'll show you that here in a moment. The step itself is only going to weigh 6-1/2 pounds.
Here on the actual platform, it has grip tape and on the legs it's going to feature non-slip rubber feet, so it's going to ensure solid footing, both here at the legs and for the user on top of the platform. Now with it unfolded in this position, it's going to give us an overall length measuring from edge to edge down here at the feet of about 24 inches. The overall width from edge to edge here at the feet, that's going to give us a measurement of about 20 inches and then our overall height to the top of the platform here is going to measure about 8 inches tall. Now, the platform dimensions, that's going to give us a length of about 19 inches. It's going to give us a width of about 14-1/2 and again, it's got that nice textured surface on it. Now, this is very strong and very durable. It's rated with a capacity of 1,000 pounds. To get it folded up, it's also a very simple process.
All you got to do is push in on the buttons here at the feet and then push each foot down until it makes contact with the bottom of the platform. Now, with it in this position, the platform measurements stay the same. The only measurement that changes is the overall height. It's now going to be about 2-3/4 of an inch. That's going to do it for today's review of part number CAM43677. This is the Camco Fixed Height Platform Step.

We tried less expensive options for far too long. This step is rock solid, lightweight and packs relatively flat. As always, eTrailer service is top notch.
We actually bought this to make it easier for our older dog to get into our station wagon. We had been using a large ramp on the back, but our dog was having trouble trusting her legs with it. This fold-up step was the perfect solution! It took up so much less space, and was safer to use in a parking lot (side of car instead of rear). She took to it right away. We've recommended it to several friends at the dog park!
This platform step is exactly what I needed, wanted, and ordered. It got here quickly and in good shape. A friend scoffed at my use of a plastic step stool for my travel trailer, suggesting that a true rv-er would have an aluminum step stool that wouldn't slip or tip. I bought this about 2 months ago and have used it quite a bit for the entrance to our motorhome.
The adjustable legs are a nice feature since we are often camping on uneven spots.
The step folds up nicely for easy storage. Thinking about buying a second one for our car trailer.
This is the second one I have purchased and is great for setting up the step on uneven ground while proving a stable platform.

This product is exactly what I wanted. It's adjustable and is very study for a hefty person. It has a big platform so it does not tip and wobble while using it. It is very safe to use.
This is an excellent landing step, love the adjustable legs for those uneven sites I added some glow in the dark tape to it.
Folding step stool is very well built, easy to use and stores in small space. Great is every way, but a bit on the expensive side. However, I expect to only purchase one, and this one will last forever.
Fantastic, well built, strong, sturdy and the sexiest step in the campground. I actually use this as a first step for my 90 year old mother to get up into my Tahoe. The big platform is awesome and there is just enough non-skid on the tread. Independently adjustable legs are neat, it's best to find a youngster with strong skinny fingers to make the adjustments on leg length as the appreciated tight tolerances can be fidgety... all good though!

Awesome step that replaces our camper steps that I had to remove from the camper because they were completely broken. Never thought it would be worth it to pay $100 for a step but this one is. Very solid, stable and lightweight. My only complaint is I wish it were a few inches taller. Other than that completely worth it.
Thanks George for the prompt shipment and great deal on these adjustable steps. These things are really awesome and we do a lot of camping and have needed these things for so long. We plan on using them this weekend. Whenever you have to level your camper or travel trailer on the camp side it raises your bottom step so high sometimes that is very difficult to step down or even Step Up and we have an outside kitchen and it is very hard to reach sometimes that is why we ordered two of these awesome steps and I love them because each leg adjust individually for the uneven ground they are really going to come in handy again thank you George for everything and we will be shopping again with you very soon.
A solid and sturdy step. Easy to set up and store. Good footing on the large platform. My only quibble is the step is not quite high enough. One more notch would make it just the right height for our purpose.
It is wonderful, easy to use and store, safe to walk on rain or shine, makes getting in and out at any level perfect. I really enjoy having the camco and would highly recommend it. I looked all over and this was the best product and priced reasonably.
The step is top quality, and very sturdy. its well worth the price Purchased one for the camper was very happy and bought a second one to get in and out of the race trailer. etrailer's website and staff have been excellent, as far as assistance and communicaction. the shipping department I also have to thank, every order is packed well and arrives in great shape.
The legs are easily height adjustable. It fits my need for a sturdy step stool with some width allowing two feet on the step at one time. It will e used by a student with Cerebral palsy to step on it from his wheelchair, turn and sit on the changing table. TO return to his wheel chair, the changing table will belowered nad his feet placed onthe step, Pivot turn and then sit in his wheelchair without his aide lifting him inot the wheelchair.
I bought this unit along with another cheaper steel step. This unit is much lighter, supports more weight, and is better crafted than the S-150 step. I would recommend this step for anyone that needs a boost in getting to the bottom step of your camper, or for any other purpose, like getting a dish off a higher cabinet shelf. I'm built like an offensive lineman and this supports me like a champ.
I just received this and I'm already using it instead of a little step ladder. It's steadier than the step ladder and it's much more comfortable for my feet than a narrow step is. The 9 inch rise is perfect for washing windows and dusting ceiling fans.
Just what I had been looking for. Heavy duty and the workmanship is outstanding. Great design on the leg pins so your finger does not get pinched when folding the legs down. Also it is a lot better than hauling cement blocks around for different levels.
Great product. I bought this step stool to get in my lifted truck because it is well made and sturdy. I use a cane and it is wide enough for me to step on along with my cane to get into my truck.
Extremely well built. This will serve many uses around the house/RV etc. We decided to spend the extra money considering the weight savings built in aluminum. Very happy with the purchase.
