Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we're taking a quick look at the performance tool folding ladder, or compact step stool right here at etrailer.com. So I use a lot of step stools and a lot of portable ladders because what if you just need quick and easy access into your cabinets where you need to change out a light bulb inside of your camper, your RV, things like that. Well, something like this would be very helpful because that way you're not stepping on your couch, stepping on your table, you have a nice stable surface and it's easy to put away. Compared to most of your step stools, this is a two-step ladder. So you just unfold it, drop it, and you now have one and two surfaces to stand on.

So there's two steps here. The bottom step is gonna be nine inches high up off the ground and then the top step will be 18 inches off the ground. The width of your step is gonna be 18 inches and a half. So you can see here on the bottom step that it's 17 inches and a half, and then the top step is 14 inches and a half. So this has the weight class of 300 pounds.

So take into effect, not just your own weight, but also the weight of whatever you're carrying. If you're lifting something super heavy and putting that into a cabinet, that's gonna add to that weight capacity. This is made of a heavy-duty polystyrene construction. So compared to some other step stools, like the safety step is made of aluminum. So that's a metal, and you can definitely feel it.

It's heavier. Well, this one's gonna be more towards your heavy-duty, almost plastic construction. That doesn't mean it's not a sturdy step, though. So taking a look here. So you go up and down the step.

You have a little bit of movement where the feet are. That's just really, just moving around on the step. It is heavy-duty, it is stable, but it's also lightweight. So after I've used the ladder, I just lift up on this handle, it slides up, holds up, which makes it very easy to store behind your chair like this, in your basement, under your bed, or underneath your cabinets. With the given dimensions as awesome as it is that it gives you those two steps, it also takes up more space than most of your single step stools. So for your RVs and your campers, just double check that cabinet space, see if it'll fit. Like in our case here, it doesn't fit. So my personal thoughts on our performance tool, folding ladder is I like how it gives me more height options compared to your basic step stool. A step stool is awesome in terms of its stability, but you don't have that extra height. So if you're reaching on top of a car or you have a light bulb that you need to change, a step stool might not be enough, and that's where you would need a folding ladder like this. The downside to this is while it is lightweight, it's still made of a polystyrene construction versus a metal construction, and it is on the larger side. So you're really gonna have to figure out. Do you have a place to store this Can this fit there And do you have enough things that you need to change Whether it's high up or that you need to reach that's worth getting this.
