Today we're going to be taking at look at the Roadmaster EZ Hook Safety Cables with Anchors. The EZ Hook Safety Cables are going to be faster to connect than other cables. They include the feature of standard cables, with the addition of a unique attachment system. That's going to be the stainless steel ball at the end of the cable, that's going to latch into the slotted portion right here on the anchor plate. The cables are going to measure 64" long, they're going to have the capacity of 8,000 pounds per pair. This unit's going to be made right here in the USA, and it's designed to work with all the Roadmaster mounting brackets with quick disconnects.
The safety cables are aircraft tight galvanized steel, they're going to feature the forged steel hooks with these spring loaded latches to prevent accidental disconnecting. Nice strong durable design. The cables are also going to be vinyl coated, so that's going to prevent scratching and chipping of the tow bar surfaces. The anchors are designed to connect to the tow bar bracket that's located on your vehicle with the included mounting hardware. The anchors are going to be made from a steel construction, they're going to have a black powder coat finish so they're going to do a great job at resisting rust and corrosion. The cables easily connect to the anchor brackets by inserting the ball ends through the diagonal slots, and then pulling down into the sides.
Very quick and easy installation of the cable into the anchor, as well as removal. If you have short cables connecting your base plates to your vehicle, you can attach them to the holes on the anchors. This hole right here with a quick link, quick links are sold separately. If you need some, you can find them right here at etrailer.com. Once you have that all that done though, you're going to be ready to connect your cables to your tow vehicle. We do recommend that when connecting this to your tow vehicles that you cross the cables below the hitch to create a cradle.

If I did NOT have these safety cables, I would not have been able to disconnect my motorhome before it, too, caught fire. I will never tow with the other cables.

Exceptional service from the minute I called to place my order, to order confirmation, to shipping confirmation to after delivery notice asking if I had any questions and giving me a phone number to call.
When I called to order Nicholas C was just so polite, helpful, and full of information on the product, shipping options, etc. I was just blown away by the professionalism of Nicholas. I needed the product soon and purchased the three-day delivery. Nicholas informed me that as it was already Wednesday at 4:30 it probably would not get shipped that day but would be shipped the next morning. Because a weekend was approaching I should expect delivery on Monday. Within 30 minutes I got a notice from Nicholas that they were able to get it shipped that day and it arrived at my door, in Claifornia, at 12:00 PM on Friday. Are all the customer service folks at eTrailer as good as Nicholas, or is he just the cream of the crop that I was lucky to get connected with? This is the way customer service should be done. My only disappointment is that you can't give more than Five Stars.
The EZ hook safety cables were very easy to add to my Sterling All-Terrain tow-bar. I we certainly like the "EZ" part of unhooking the car from the bus when we need to.
have not towed with this product yet but installed it in 10 minutes. i know it will save me in time as now i will to be able to connect and disconnect in minutes with out any wrenches to as before with the quick links. It makes this job real simple.

The cables arrived today and should work awesomely. I've not yet been able to install them, but they are replacing a nearly identical pair that were several inches too long.
Nice set of cables. Only complaint is I swear they where labeled as 10,000 lb rating.

Loved the safety chain I just wished they were about 6 inches shorter. Have to use bungee cords to keep from dragging
