1993 Ford F-150
The mirror is not an exact replacement. The mirror support is made of thinner aluminum, overall quality not ad good as the original. The overall size is smaller, so the mirror sits lower and closer than the original on my 1993 F150. However, the mounting bracket spacing is correct, so I didn’t have to drill holes in the truck door.

I have previously bought these mirrors to replace my stock mirrors, only thing I noticed was only one hole lined up and the other had to be drilled out. And the hardware to bolt on I believe should be more chrome and a different style but otherwise that the mirrors are perfect and look amazing on the truck.

1996 Ford F-250 Super Duty
Really sturdy and heavy duty, had to move my tire for install but not relocate it on my 96 f250. Took me a little over an hour, had pre existing holes so I only had to drill two of them out.

The top bracket does have only 2 holes, not 3, but it would be easy enough to drill the 3rd hole if you wish. The mirror will be fine if installed with just the two holes that are pre-drilled. Each hole is 1/4-inch in diameter and they are spaced apart by 3-1/2-inches on centers.

You'd be able to remove them when not needed too but they an extend really far out. We also have the CIPA universal door mount mirror # CM45000 which you could attach to the side of the doors for a permanent install. This isn't custom fit for your truck but these do extend out pretty far.

It has metal mounting brackets, arm, and hardware. The housing of the mirror itself is plastic but has the chrome finish to look like metal but resist corrosion. It has the same footprint and mounting points as the factory mirror on your 1993 Ford F-150 so it is an easy no-drill installation.
