Adco RV Tire and Wheel Covers

Worried about the tires on your fifth wheel dry rotting in the intense desert sun during a long camping trip? Or perhaps you're storing a boat trailer in the northeast, and you're concerned about your wheels rusting after a series of snowstorms? These durable covers protect the tire-and-wheel assemblies from dust, dirt, and the elements while your RV, camper, or trailer is parked or stored for an extended period of time. By keeping your tires covered, it'll prevent the sidewall from prematurely cracking and causing a blowout on the highway. This will extend the life of your tires, so you won't have to unexpectedly budget in a costly tire replacement.

This heavy-duty vinyl material is water repellent and UV repellent, so it'll hold up against rain showers, snow flurries, and heat waves during storage. The covers are reinforced with double-needle stitching and overlapping seams for extra durability, so it won't rip easily. And the material is easy to wipe clean before putting it away at the start of the camping season.

Making Sure the Cover Will Fit Your Tires

Adco RV Tire and Wheel Covers Dimensional Diagram

These tire-and-wheel covers are designed to fit 18" - 22" diameter assemblies with one of the following tire sizes:

  • 5.30 x 12
  • 5.70 x 8
  • 20.0 x 8 x 10
  • 20.5 x 8 x 10

Securing the Covers onto Your Tire-and-Wheel Assemblies

Adco RV Tire and Wheel Covers Bungee Cords

These covers are quick and easy to install. If you have larger tire-and-wheel assemblies, it's recommended to lay the covers in the sun for a few minutes. This will let the material expand slightly, so it'll fit over your tires more easily. Once the covers are in place on your tires, thread bungee cords through the built-in grommets on the back and pull tight to remove any excess slack in the material. These bungee cords prevent the covers from flapping in the wind, and the soft interior lining won't damage your wheels' paint job.

Perfect for protecting trailer tires from the weather!

by:

Great tire cover. Stays on in high wind. You don't have to hug the tire to fasten it, just toss the cord around the back and fasten in front.

Best customer service on the net

Too long to get it

Product worked well after modification.
Trailer
parked in northern Wisc. Three weeks later covers were shredded. Installed
New covers and mothballs have not had a problem since. Small critters in forest did not like mothballs.

Theses tire covers fit my 4.80x12 "C" rated tires perfectly. I have not had them long enough to see how they hold up but I have the same brand covers on my RV and they seem to hold up well.

Lasting well— one side sees the sun all day-the other is mostly in the shade. Live in the North East so the covers also see frost and snow. Both covers are like new. They are not cheap but so far have lasted well.

by:

They came on time they fit the tire perfectly can ask for anything better made a good quality

by:

Been in the hot sun and there are no problems at all. Nice fit. Highly recommend.

by:

Good looking piece of goods. Looks sturdy enough to make it through a New England winter. Nice idea having the ties to keep it from falling off.

by:

by:

Order delivered on time and was well packaged. Haven't installed tire covers yet but they appear to be good quality.

by:

Still works well and looks clean after a year of constant use and UV exposure. The only negative is that installation requires kneeling on the ground and reaching behind the tire. But I understood this before I bought, so can’t really complain. Good value for the price.

by:

The tire covers are used every time I return the RV into storage, which is out in the Florida sun. The covers have held up masterfully and the tires have been very well protected. I can see the difference in the storage area where RVs do not use covers or they use a less durable brand. I am completely satisfied!

by:

This is my second set of tire covers, so I'm happy with this product. The first set lasted three years. I replaced them because all four of the vinyl covers started to crack at the top. The crack exposed the inner liner. The crack size was 4-6 inches. I live in Northern CA about 40 miles from the Oregon border. Up here we have four seasons and the weather is similar to the Maryland/Virginia area where I grew up. I probably could have gone another year with the old covers, but I'd rather replace stuff a year too early than a year too late.

  • Suggestion to Stop 205/65-10 Load Range E Tires From Cracking
I can imagine it is getting quite aggravating to have to change your load range E 205/65-10 bias tires like the Loadstar K399 Bias Trailer Tire # AM1HP56, but as you said, these are bias tires, and that is the only type available for 10 inch tires. In regards to Kenda tires, if you are not familiar with them, the Kenda brand is recognized as being very high quality. Our customers who have them have rated them over 1,500 times (as of this writing) and given them a nearly 5-star rating,...

  • Recommended Spare Tire Cover for 5.70-8 Trailer Tire
The overall diameter of the 5.70-8 trailer tire is 18.1 inches. We have a few options for this size, and I recommend the Adco Ultra Tyre Gard RV Wheel Covers - 18" to 22" - Black # 290-3975 because of their fit and the bungee ball fastening system. They are heavy duty vinyl and have a flannel backing. I've linked the page to you options confirmed to fit. Although these are covers for storing your RV, the cover will work well with a spare tire as well.

  • Tire Covers for 18.5 x 8.5 Tires on Snowmobile Trailer
Your tires should be 18.5 x 8.5 - 8 tires, which means they are on 8" wheels. If so, that is the same as a 216/60-8 tire which measures 18.2" in diameter. The tire covers I recommend for you are the Adco Tyre Gard # 290-3975, which fit 18" - 22" tires and simply slip over them while using bungee cords to tighten and secure the covers. They are made of water-repellent vinyl and come in black or white with part # 290-3955. I've added links to video reviews of these covers for you to check out.

  • Recommended Tire Protection Covers For 145x12 Tires
The ST145/R12 have a diameter of about 21.3". For a tire cover I recommend the 290-3975 Adco Ultra Tyre Gard # 290-3975. These are very solid vinyl covers which will keep your tires protected while in storage. They will fit virtually any tire between 18"-22" in diameter, including your 145x12 . I have linked our review/install video below if you want to take a look.

  • Smallest Tire Cover Options for a Trailer
That's a pretty small tire size, so I'd imagine you're going to have a tough time finding anything. The closest SnapRing tire covers we have are for 19"-22" tires # ST7006BK, and the smallest tire covers we have sitewide will fit down to an 18" tire # 290-3975 but they aren't SnapRing's.

  • Replacement Wheel and Tire Combination for 5.70-8 Tires With 4 inch on 4 inch Wheel Bolt Pattern
If your tire only has about 2 inches of clearance inside of the wheel well on your trailer then you will want to keep the same wheel and tire size. Your current tire and wheel are about the biggest that we currently offer. Changing it will not make a difference in the life or how heavy duty it is. For direct replacements you can either use the Kenda # AM30120 which is the same 5.70-8 4 inch on 4 inch bolt pattern combination that you currently have. This tire and wheel combo has a max...

  • Solution for 4.80-12 Trailer Tires That Keep Cracking During Storage Season
The physical size of the tire won't have an effect on its endurance during storage but its quality certainly can. I'm not quite sure what brand tires you are using but I recommend taking a look at the Taskmaster 4.80R12 # TT48012C, which is the highest quality unit we have available in this size.
