What's up, everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out the Prest-O-Fit Sewer Hose Kit. It's gonna come with the sewer hose. It's gonna come with the end that hooks up to the dump tank. And then the end that hooks up to your rig. Let's check it out.

We're gonna start up here at the rig side of things. We've got our bayonet connector. You just twist it to take it off or to put it back on there. Just twist into place and it's locked in there. And the Prest-O-Fit is super easy too.

It's friction-fit so that's how you take it off there. And to set it up, you just push it back on, and you're done with that set-up. It's really that easy and this carries on down the sewer hose. The hose it comes with is gonna be 10 feet long. Now it's gonna be made out of vinyl.

And it's gonna be pretty strong. I can push down on it, it comes back to its shape. It doesn't seem like it's made of light material that can easily rip and tear so I really want that. I wanna invest in a hose that's gonna last 'cause you're gonna need it to, you don't wanna spring a leak on this when you're going to dump the tank. And then the other thing I would say is it will stretch out just a little bit, but it's not gonna hold its shape like the DuraForm one that Prest-O-Kit has.

So just keep that in mind that you can get a little stretch out of it if you want, but it's not gonna stay that way and it's not gonna compact and stay that way either when you go to store it. This is something I would recommend. This part does not come with the kit but we're using a little extension here just to reach to the dump tank. And you have this fitting here in the middle is what makes that possible. Again, it's that same friction fit, the Prest-O-Fit, it's that easy to move or put both sides together. At this end of our hose, it's gonna have our 90 degree connection here that's gonna go just like the other ones. Friction fit, Prest-O-Fit, goes right on there, and you're done. It's that easy, again. And so I really like this setup because it's so quick and easy to get it done. And if you need to take it apart, disassemble it, and clean it, it's super easy just to pull it all apart and hose it off. Something else to point out is that doesn't come with the kit. It's gonna be this seal here. It's just to keep it gas-tight. That way, there's no fumes coming out of there. And there's no liquid dropping anywhere. You see there's no droplets here. We've dumped this tank a few times today. Even the Prest-O-Fit held up just fine. There was no issues of leaks or anything. And sometimes it's just required at some of the RV sites to have this. So make sure you have one of these as well. While we're talking recommendations, let's talk about this bayonet connection here. Now this is gonna work just fine but something to make it a little easier on you, I recommend getting the clear elbow. It's gonna be at a 90 degree that Prest-O-Fit offers. It's gonna go on the hose the exact same way and attach it up here. You're just gonna have a clear window to see when you're dumping the tank, when it's done. So if you don't see any liquid in there, or you can see it's changed the color, as it's dumping out there, it's gonna be empty. You'll know it's done. And you can then unhook it and get everything cleaned up. I just like having that 'cause right now you can't really see it, you can listen for it and kinda see a little movement in the sewer hose but it was much easier to have that clear window and be like, "Oh, okay, it's done, we're done here, we can clean this up." Something else I would recommend is getting some cleaning tablets for your tank. You can just easily drop that in your toilet. It's gonna go down in the tank and help break down everything that's in there. That way it's just smoother as it comes out the sewer hose. You're gonna have less issues that way. Also, it's gonna change the color so it'll be purple or blue. When you're using that clear window to see that, it's a little less gross, to be honest, as it's coming through. It's also gonna fight that smell too. They're gonna come in different scents and it's just gonna help make this experience a little bit better than what it is. Another handy thing that it comes with is these caps that go on the end of the hose. That way, if you're in a rush and you clean it really quickly, there might something in there still you can pop these on there when you go to put it away. And you don't have to worry about the hose leaking everywhere. I really like this kit overall, I think it's good. There's some other kits that we have offered and they come with a lot of fluff, a lot of stuff you don't really need. This Prest-O-Fit one has the stuff you actually need and it works really well, that Prest-O system. I'm just pushing on the ends is awesome, it was really easy to use.
