Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the JR Products Deluxe Window Frame for your RV Entry Door. This is going to replace or upgrade from a broken or damaged window frame for your RV door. It just fits together like so. This portion will be our outside piece that's going to be the one that has the butyl tape around the perimeter, inside and outside; and then the interior piece is the one that has all our hardware.Now this is going to use #6 x 1 1/2 inch long screws.
It does not come with them and those are going to be #6 flathead screws to get this installed. Like I said, it doesn't come with them, but you will have to pick those up on your own. That 1 1/2 inch length should be enough to connect the two pieces together and seal up that window for you.It's going to be made out of a UV resistant plastic, so we shouldn't worry about any kind of cracking or fading over time. It should last for a long while. And like I said, there is butyl tape around this interior edge all the way around and then also around the exterior edge as well.We'll several different mounting holes.
We'll have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 screws to worry about. As far as the dimensions, the interior size here is about 12 inches across by about 21 inches long; outside dimensions, just about 15 3/4 inches by about 24 3/4.That's pretty much all there is to it for our Deluxe Window Frame for RV Entry Doors. this item fit perfectly. it had the same amount of screws as the one that was broken, so i had no worries there. each piece has a line of sticky sealant all the way around to help hold the window and to seal the edges from weather. all in all i am now a happy glamper!

Was a perfect replacement for the one on my toy hauler. I used #6x1-1/2 screws, which are the right size and length. I used some pan head screws (the product description calls them "flat" head), but it looks like the actual holes are designed for a countersunk head.

There may be some excess play with a 3/4" thickness, but you can always try to add in some filler pieces.
