How To Install An Entry Door Lock Strike Plate When There's nothing In The Wall To Mount To
Question:
I have a Flagstaff Micro Lite . It has 2 entry doors, one in the front and one in the back. My front door latch is in need of replacement . Ive tried adjusting the plate and replacing the screws, adjusting the step and front stabilizers. The screws have nothing to hold onto. I can get it to close with great difficulty , but it wont lock. Please advise.

If the strike plate # 295-000022 has nothing to screw into then you can instead rivet them in place so that it's not relying on there being something in the wall to mount too and will instead hold to the door frame.
