Notes:
Start your engine easier and warm your cab faster in cold weather with this immersion heater. Heating your engine fluid keeps it from thickening and freezing, resulting in more reliable start-ups and smoother operation altogether. It also lessens the workload and extends the life of your vehicle's battery. And because starting your engine when it's warm creates less condensation in the engine block than starting it when it's cold, your engine will get better initial fuel vaporization, which causes fewer emissions and less pollution.
This immersion heater installs by screwing into your oil pan or your engine block. The power cord on the heater is removable so that you won't need to buy a whole new heater if the cord gets damaged. The cord can be routed through your grille for easy access to a 120-volt outlet or extension cord. If needed, a longer or shorter cord (sold separately) can be purchased to better fit your application. Make sure the heating element is fully submerged in the oil or coolant before plugging it in.

Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at the Kat's Heaters, Oil and Coolant Immersion Heater. This unit ensures smooth startups and faster heating and defrosting of your cab. It installs in the oil pan or engine block, and submerges in oil or coolant. It's designed to warm the engine fluid, which helps increase lubrication and performance. It keeps your fluid from thickening, and protects against damage and colder weather. It preheats the engine to reduce condensation in the engine block, which emits less pollution and fewer gas emissions. It includes a removable power cord, so you can wrap this cord through the grill, and then plug it into a standard 120 volt AC outlet. This cord measures around 70 inches long, which is around six feet long.
It's constructed of durable, rust-proof stainless steel. CSA approved, and it's made in the USA. Thread size is one inch MPT. Heating element length is three and three-quarter inches. Wattage is 300 watts, and a couple of notes I need to mention: Do not use this heater with 100% anti-freeze solution, and do not start your engine with the heater plugged in.Now, one of the great features about having a removable power cord is if the power cord ever gets damaged, you do not have to replace the whole unit, you just need to replace the power cord.
That's going to do it for today's look at the Kat's Heaters, Oil and Coolant Immersion Heater.

This 3-3/4" long immersion heater submerges in your oil or engine coolant to keep your engine fluid from thickening. The result is easier start-ups, faster heating of your cab, and less wear and tear on your vehicle in cold weather.Works great! I built a preheater out of 1" pipe and used your heater with a tiny thermostat for heating the fuel for my converted hot air furnace which burns used motor oil in my workshop.
we used the device to conduct an experiment in side a gearbox with a new prototype design seal we need the the internal temperature to go to 70 C it was able to do this but it was not able to achieve our 100 C BUT IT PERFORMED IN A MANNER THAT WE WERE HAPPY WITH THANKS FOR THE DEVICE IT HELPED US ACHIEVE OUR GOAL
I have recently purchased this product as an experiment and not for its intended use. I purchased this product to heat oil on a small homemade quench tank. So far so good! I have not been able to get an exact temperature of the oil but it works for what I intended it to be. The slight problem was the threads. If you purchase this product for any fluids under pressure you may have to rechase the threads. I could not find any couplers to fit over the 1” NPT. Where I do not have fluids under pressure I was able to get one full turn out of the threads with no leakage.
Hi' I bought this heater for my snowblower motor. (22Hp. twin Briggs & Sratton) I just bought a 1/2" x 3/8" bushing (motor drain plug is 3/8"), 2- 1/2" unions. And there I GO. Thank You! & Okee-Dokee I'm in busness.
The heater works great. Heated 8 quarts of 50W racing oil to 230deg.F in about 40min. in a dry sump tank.
I need to preheat the straight 50W oil prior to startup on a cold engine.
