Number of LEDs on CIPA EVO Formance Ultrabrights LED Light Strip # CM93281

Question:

a little more info before I purchase..... how many leds are on these strips? I know it would be at my own risk if I use them for tail lights. but, can they be wired for turn,brake and tail lights? this is what I am looking for in a strip aprox this size that is bright enough for tail light application. if not, do u have anything else I could trim to fit that I can use for a tail light set up. thanks for the help.

I spoke with my contact at CIPA and the EVO Formance Ultrabrights LED Light Strip, # CM93281, has 12 LEDs on the 8" strip.

This light strip can wire into any 12-volt power source and can also wire into your brake light circuit so the strip will come on whenever you brake. Since this light was not designed to replace the turn, brake, or taillights on your vehicle, we do not have any wiring information nor can we recommend using the light strip in this way.
