The B&W Underbed Gooseneck Hitch, part # BWGNRK1000, will fit your 1996 Chevrolet C/K 1500 Truck with 8 foot bed. This hitch has a 30,000-lb gross towing weight capacity and a 7,500-lb tongue weight capacity.
It is also recommended to use Loctite Threadlocker 262, part # LT37420, on all of the bolts when installing the B&W gooseneck hitch.
