The # HT31412 Husky bracket kit fits specific Ford Super Duty trucks from 2005 to 2010 but not your 1993 Chevy K3500. The Husky kit for your truck is part # HT31402 or # HT31402-686 with the rails; however there is some drilling into the frame.

The only fifth wheel install kit we carry that doesn't require drilling into the truck's frame is the B&W kits; parts # BWGNRK1000 if you have an 8 foot bed or # BWGNRK1050 if you have a 6-1/2 foot bed. Then use the Companion fifth wheel hitch, part # BWRVK3500 for the fixed hitch and part # BWRVK3400 for the sliding hitch to give you more turning clearance with the short bed.

A couple of great things about the B&W are that when you remove the hitch from the truck bed it's completely clear without base rails getting in the way and also the install kit doubles as a gooseneck hitch.

If you also want to add a 7-way in the truck bed to make it easier to hook up to the fifth wheel trailer use part # 20023 for your K3500.
