Colin: Hey everyone, it's Colin here at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at the mini light bar from Buyers Products.Now, this amber colored warning light, is going to be a handy tool to have for a wide variety of reasons. Some examples might be . you see here, we have here on our utility truck, can be used for snowplowing, can be used for landscaping, tow vehicles, or even if you're the lead or the follow in a wide load situation. You're going to be able to let people know that you're currently working and to keep their distance.Now, we're going to have 24 LED diodes in our light bar. We're also going to have 10 different flashing patterns so you can kind of customize it to however you like it.

There's going to be a switch on your plug. You're going to see me click it right here and change the pattern. We'll do it again.Now, I'm not going to go through them all. I just wanted to point out that you do have those options.Now, with the light off, you can take a closer look and just kind of see what the light looks like. We're just going to have six different sections of four LED diodes.

Going to pick the light up just so you can see the other sides. We have two right here. There's going to be another one on this side. And two more on the back side.Now, we also do have a couple of different mounting options. The one we're currently using is the two magnets that come with the light.

We have them right here. And we have some nice rubber coverings on our magnets to make sure we don't harm or scratch the finish of our paint.We'll just see how it works real quick. They're very strong magnets so they're not going to move at all, even while you're traveling at high speeds.Another option you have is to permanently mount it using the included hardware. You would just have to bolt it down on to your roof. So keep in mind, you will have to do some drilling, if you want this.Now, the lights going to draw it's power using the 12 volt accessory outlet in your vehicle, so as long as your battery is not dead, you're going to have power for your light.Now, here's the connection point right here.

We're also going to have a 15 foot power cord, so that means that wherever we want to put it on our roof, we should be able to reach our power source.I'll go ahead and plug it in for you guys real quick. Show you a little bit about it.Now, once you plug it in, I'll go ahead and get that done. There we go. You're going to have two switches. The first one with that red dot is going to be the power switch. You see it lit up right there, letting us know our light bar is currently on.The other button is going to be a switch to switch our flash patterns. Once we press it once, it'll change the pattern, and you can cycle through to choose whatever pattern you want.Once we flip that switch, the light goes off, letting us know that our light bar is now off.Now, a couple things I really like about this light bar is that is does have LED lights, which are a lot better than the candescents, in my opinion. LEDs are going to last longer. They're going to burn a lot brighter, and they're going to be more efficient when they're operating. It's not going to just drain your battery while they're turned on, so you're going to be all right, right there.Another thing I really like is you have that magnetic mount option so you can remove it when you're not using it. I personally don't want to have it on top of my truck when I'm not using it.And it's going to have a low profile design so it's not going to be too hard to store either.
