Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Blazer Magnet Mount Amber LED Warning Beacon. Now this is an amber strobe warning beacon which will alert other drivers and pedestrians of the presence of your service vehicle. Does give you 360 degrees of lighting, so it is ideal for towing, plowing, transportation, warehouse, and even agricultural applications. This warning light can also be used to identify stationary safety hazards. The lens on it is a nice tough polycarbonate lens.
It is impact resistant. It does have an IP67 rating for protection against dust and moisture. The power cord on this end, you can see, it'll plug into your vehicle's 12 volt power outlet. And I am gonna demonstrate that, we're gonna plug it in here, I first wanna go over other feature. The magnetic base right down here.
It is a non-scratch magnetic base, secures it to your vehicle's roof. And I did pull a piece of metal just to show you what it does, you can see there it is, and you can see it's very strong, holds it sideways, upside down, holds it in place. What's nice about the magnet base means the unit can be quickly mounted, repositioned, and even removed for storage when not used. Does have holes in the mounting plate here that you can permanently mount it if you prefer. Now I am gonna plug this in to show you and then we're gonna turn off the lights.
Here's the, got a 12 volt power outlet, so you can see once I plug it in, you can see it starts operating. I'm gonna turn off the, and it just gives you the one flashing design. It does this strobing flash pattern, will flash about a hundred times per minute. Go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights, go ahead and unplug it. Give you a few dimensions on this.
The base, the diameter on the base, if we get our ruler, that is gonna measure right at about 5-1/8". The overall height from the bottom to the very top measures right at about 3-7/8". And you can see it does have a nice coil power cord on this, and that'll extend out to about 12 feet in length.
