Today we're going to take a look at the Orion Emergency 30-Minute Road Flares. This is for a quantity of three. Now these road flares will let you warn passing motorists during emergency situations. These flares will burn brightly for 30 minutes. They can be kept safe and dry prior to use in this resealable bag. Now these roadside flares will warn other motorists of your emergency situation. They give off a fire-like flicker that will grab the attention better than reflective triangles.
They're about five times brighter than electronic signals. Basically, they say three of these flares put out will have the same safety effect as a police car with flashing lights. These flares do have a 30-minute burning time. They are very easy to ignite and deploy. There's no extra equipment required for igniting. They are self-consuming.
There's no need to retrieve them from the roadway. They use a non-perchlorate formula which won't harm the environment. This brand is used most by police departments. This is Department of Transportation compliant. These are made in the USA. Now the quantity, they come with three of them.
There are three 30-minute flares. Comes in this resealable storage bag here. Also inside the bag is this safety deployment and safety guide card. If you read it, it will show you how to light them. It even shows you how to place them by your vehicle.
You do want to store the flares in the sealed bag. Now to light your flare, basically if you'll notice at the top here, they have this plastic cap with a lid on it. Basically, you just pop this lid off. It will expose the scratch sticker on the top. Then you twist and remove the cap. That will expose the black igniter button that's on the flare. Then you take that black igniter button, you put it against that scratch sticker that's on the cap, and then you strike it away from your face and body. Then when you do that, it will light it. Very simple to do. That should do it for the review on the Orion Emergency 30-Minute Road Flares, quantity of three.

I would gladly order from etrailer again, and highly recommend them!
I keep several of these in my rig. I had a hard time finding them online, but of course etrailer had them. I like the larger ones as they burn longer giving me more time to change blow-outs

They are still in my RV. Luckily havent needed to use them yet.
I enjoy shopping at etrailer.com. They have a good variety of quality products and reasonable prices but their customer service is most excellent. I needed a case of road flares with a longer burn time. I'll put some, with traffic cones, in my horse trailer for emergencies. I read that road flares are an effective gopher deterrent so will give it a try. The flares arrived in good condition and are exactly what I was looking for, thank you.
Of course we haven't needed these yet. But with the affordable pricing we are glad to finally get some to have on hand.
These flares were ordered for emergency situations. I had a flat tire on a busy freeway recently and the highway patrol stopped and the first thing he did was place flares on the freeway to warn traffic of our car and boat on the shoulder. I hope I never have to use them but if a highway patrolman isn't available at the time I certainly will use the as directed.
Fast and longer then I expected. I hope I won't have to use them but Im giving one to each family member and to a friend. Ill use them for emergency road work or survival fire starter.
Great flares, as expected, super bright and attention getting for traffic control. Only problem is i ordered with stands but came with no stands.
We plan on using these flares if we ever have a break down on the road.

These were bought for use in an emergency, so thankfully I havent had to find out yet how well they work or not. My 5 stars are based on how quickly they delivered these...super quick.
