With the SuperHitch Original's 2 receivers, you can tow a trailer and carry a hitch-mounted bike rack or cargo carrier at the same time. And if you have a truck bed camper, this hitch has pre-drilled mounting points for TorkLift's super-sturdy camper tie-towns (sold separately). You can also add one of TorkLift's SuperTruss hitch extensions (sold separately) to extend the top receiver of the SuperHitch so that it clears your camper, allowing you to tow your trailer while your camper's installed.

Truck Bed Camper Compatibility

TorkLift is known for their truck camper tie-down systems and other camper accessories, so it just makes sense that they would have camper enthusiasts in mind when designing a trailer hitch. Each SuperHitch is built with integrated mounting points for TorkLift camper tie-downs, making it easier than ever to get a quality tie-down system for your slide-in camper.

TorkLift SuperTruss in SuperHitch

The dual-receiver design of the SuperHitch also makes it easy to tow with your truck bed camper in place. The SuperTruss line of high-capacity hitch extenders is specially designed to extend the hitch receiver back far enough to clear your bed-mounted camper, while still allowing for an excellent towing capacity. An ordinary hitch extender can dramatically reduce your towing capacity. But each SuperTruss extension forms such a solid connection with the SuperHitch that the setup is able to maintain one of the highest weight capacities in the industry. When used with a standard weight distribution system, the setup can maintain up to a 10,000-lb weight limit, even with an extension that is 60" long. As a result, you can clear almost any truck bed camper and still do some heavy-duty towing.

Dual Receivers for Maximum Versatility

With the SuperHitch from TorkLift, you can tow your trailer and use a hitch-mounted bike rack or cargo carrier at the same time. This is thanks to the dual-receiver design of the SuperHitch.

Most trailer hitches have a single receiver. Typically, you can find an adapter or extension piece that will slide into your hitch to give you 2 receivers, but these adapters dramatically reduce both your towing capacity and your tongue weight, limiting how much you can tow, as well as how much you can carry with a bike rack or cargo carrier. Each SuperHitch is specially constructed to maintain a high weight capacity so that you can use the 2 receivers without sacrificing towing or carrying ability.

Worked better than expected. I have a 2004 GMC 2500HD shortbed with a 2018 Northern Lite 8.11 EX slide in truck camper. The camper extends 4' past the rear bumper. I pull a two 12' trailer behind the truck. the super hitch with the 48" extension works perfect.

I'm very happy with this hitch, Everything needed to install was included and the installation instructions were accurate and easy to follow.
I tow a flatbed trailer with my Jeep on it and it is very stable.

Awesome, great product. I have a 04 Chevy 2500 HD. With my camper on I put my Jeep on a 7000 pound car hauler trailer attached to the Torklift thru a Supertruss extension. The whole package works great. Installation was very easy with basic tools and a floor jack, no drilling required. Very nice product

2007 Chevrolet Silverado

Very happy with the Torklift TLC1204. Fit my 2007, Silverado CLASSIC, 2500HD, Extended Cab, SHORT BED perfectly. Easy bolt on installation, no drilling required.

Each of the two receivers offers a snugger fit than the stock hitch - no more rattling, particularly with a supertruss extension which is rock solid.

Etrailer.com order and delivery was seamless and the hitch was delivered on time to Central CA residence in approximately 5 working days. THANK YOU!

2005 GMC Sierra

If I had to buy this exact set up again, I wouldn't. My factory size tire on my 2005 GMC sierra 2500 HD 4x4 crew cab is 245/75/16... I've upgraded to a 285/75/16 along with matching spare and this spare fits under the truck in the factory spot with my existing Curt XD hitch. It wont fit with this Torklift super hitch. Not even close. I might be able to squeeze a 265 in there now(maybe). Another thing that wont fit well is My $xxx Bullet proof 22K hitch or my $xxx Curt 20K hitch..They only work in the shallow hole in the neck..I cant push it deeper to the 2nd hole in the neck because super hitch puts a solid plate behind the receiver tube. So, you cant slide your hitch in deep enough to put the pin in the 2nd hole.. So there's that. Also, the 7 lines on instructions to install this hitch are horrible(line 5 to be exact). Not even 1 exploded diagram on the steel plate washers to bolts to lock washer to flat washer to nut or whatever..just figure it out and bolt it on. It also hangs low and doesn't snug up to the bottom of the bumper..big ol ugly gap now..So, What's good about it..? Alot actually. The Install is super easy once you figure it all out(time consuming). The packaging is superb, I thought the parts would be blown all over the delivery truck, warehouse and missing parts galore..there were just a few holes in the boxes but it all made it here..every part! This super hitch and true frame mounted camper tie downs are built to the hilt..I mean they're pretty Darn stout. The camper ties down front and rear leave no doubt my truck camper is going to be secure. I give them that. If I had to do it again? I'd buy the front C2205-C2205 tie downs and the rear after market hitch set up and drill or weld on brackets myself. I thought I'd buy my way out of this with an entire bolt on system so I don't have to fab weld or whatever but that bit me in the you know what..If your running a completely bone stock/plain jane/papa truck then get the whole set up. If you have a 4" or 5" exhaust on your diesel and slightly oversized tires, piece it together and save yourself the headache I'm dealing with..IE: possible new tires..cutting down my hitches, modding my exhaust( it did say I may have to do that) etc. I can add photos later if I can go back an edit this review. This hitch can be improved, snug up to the bumper, move the hitch further out to allow for a bigger spare, remove plate behind receiver tubes to allow for modern hitches with adjustable pin holes to slide in deeper. Maybe better diagrams for install? [online] video of the hitch install for this model truck? IDK. Just a suggestion.

2003 Ram 2500

Purchased the superhitch to install on chevy 2500 hd Duramax truck so I could pull double axle trailer with utv and camping gear while my 8' popup camper was on my short bed truck. Installation went well as I did it myself using the one person instructions. Instructions could have a few more pictures to make it easier for non mechanical people.. I will be pulling with torklift 21" extension truss.. All parts were included and in very good shape. Thanks to etrailer for the quick shipping and also we answering a couple question prior to purchase in a timely mannor.

2005 Chevrolet Silverado

I would have given your product the Excellent, but I felt that I needed more of the steel stock parts that are a couple inches long with the hole in the middle. I have it installed as so with the 32 inch reach that I purchased from you earlier. I think that I am going to like it very much. Now I have peace of mind when I have my Lance camper on with my Classic Car in the 20 foot inclosed trailer. I will be testing it after March 2015 when I take all back to Tenn. I like your quick response to responding to my emails. It is kinda late and dark out right now, but I will take pictures and send another response tomorrow.

  • Dual-Receiver Hitch for 2004 GMC Sierra 2500 with 6-1/2-Foot Bed
For your 2004 GMC Sierra 2500 with 6-1/2-foot bed we do have a dual-receiver hitch option from TorkLift, part # TLC1204, which has two 2-inch receiver openings. This allows use of a hitch-mount carrier, such as a bike rack, while towing. The Sierra's factory hitch needs to be removed to install the TorkLift. TorkLift makes the only dual hitch we currently offer for your truck and as you noted it features excellent build quality including reinforced pin holes. Another option is to install...

  • Multipurpose 2-Inch Ball Mount to Allow Both Trailer Towing and Hitch-Mount Accessory Use
For your Mercedes-Benz Sprinter-based RV we do not offer an actual trailer hitch receiver with dual openings, such as # TLC1204 from TorkLift. For the 2018 Sprinter 3500 chassis, as an example, we do offer single receiver hitches shown on the linked page. Their fits vary depending on wheelbase and bumper type. We DO have hitch adapters like Roadmaster # RM-077-6 that allows both flat towing with a tow bar and towing with a tow dolly while using a hitch-mount accessory like a bike rack...

  • Tork Lift Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2005 GMC Sierra 2500 with 6-1/2 Foot Bed
The only TorkLift trailer hitch that fits your 2005 GMC Sierra 2500 short bed is # TLC1204. This is the SuperHitch Original Class V hitch with dual 2 inch receivers. It is rated for 1,700 pounds tongue weight and 17,000 pounds gross trailer weight. When used with weight distribution it is rated for 2,000/20,000 pounds. I have linked a video of this bad boy for you.

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch With Extension For 2003 Chevrolet Silverado With Camper
The only way you can get the extension you need for a trailer hitch is by replacing your trailer hitch with the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch, part # TLC1205. This is a Class V hitch and it has dual 2-inch receiver openings. You can then use the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension, part # TLE1548. This extension has dual shanks that fit in the dual receivers. Since your truck comes with a 7-way you can easily replace it with part # 30955. This will give you a working 7-way...

  • Recommended Hitch Extender for a 3 Inch Hitch Receiver
You don't need to change out your hitch. Since your 2020 Ford F-350 has the 3" receiver you can use the 36" TorkLift Cannon Hitch Extension item # TLE1636. This extension was designed specifically for the 3" receivers that come on the newer Ford trucks. I recommend using the TorkLift Wiring Harness Extension for 36" item # TLW6036. It's an extension cord for your 7-way connector. It makes hooking up to your trailer easier.

The longest trailer hitch extender we offer is the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension part # TLE1560 which measures 60". However, the SuperTruss will require you to use a SuperHitch like part # TLC1204. The longest trailer hitch extender we offer for a 2" trailer hitch that does not require the SuperHitch is indeed 18" like part # C45796. Please note that a hitch extender minus the SuperTruss will reduce your tongue weight capacity by 50%. I have attached a list of all the 2" trailer...

  • Recommended Hitch Extender to Clear Truck Camper on 2016 Ram 2500
The dual tube TorkLift extenders that you mentioned do offer a longer extension but they are designed specifically for dual receiver trailer hitches from TorkLift like # TLC1204. Unfortunately there is not one currently available for your 2016 Ram 2500 so your only option will be with a standard single tube extender. The longest standard extender we have available is an 18 inch long unit like the Curt # C45796. This inserts into a 2 inch receiver like what you already have on your truck...

  • Recommended Weight Distribution System or Extended Ball Mount for Clearing a Tail Gate
Yeah, there are no TorkLift SuperHitches available for a 2023 Jeep Gladiator or any Jeep. Those are the heaviest duty bumper pull hitches and are reserved for large trucks with the highest towing capacities. You'll want to look into a weight distribution system with an extended shank if your Gladiator's hitch is rated for one. If you have a hitch that mounts underneath your frame like the Curt item # C74DR you can use a weight distribution system. For a 550 lbs tongue weight, I recommend...

Yes, the Torklift Class V hitch part # TLC1205 would be a great option for your 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500HD long bed. If you instead had a short bed truck you would want the part # TLC1204. The 17k capacity is more than what your truck is rated for so it would be more than adequate.

When you use a hitch extension in a 2 inch or 1-1/4 inch receiver it will reduce the tongue weight capacity of the hitch by 50 percent. But if you have a 2-1/2 inch receiver the tongue weight capacity is not reduced but usually the capacity of he extension is lower than the hitch so you would go by the lower rating. If you have a 2-1/2 inch receiver opening you can use the Titan extender # RP45292 at the 24 inch length. That will give you a capacity of 6,000 pounds; 8,000 when using weight...
