Erickson E-Track - E59143

  • E-Track Anchor
  • 1200 lbs
  • Erickson

Create a tie-down point for securing a cargo strap, rope, net, or tarp by snapping this fitting into your E-track anchor or rail. Steel attachment point and polyester strap are durable.

Features:

  • Creates a tie-down point in your trailer for rope, cargo straps, net, or tarps
  • Clips easily into an E track anchor or rail (sold separately)
  • Constructed of durable steel and polyester webbing

Specs:

  • Strap dimensions: 6" long x 2" wide
  • D-ring dimensions: 2" wide x 1-1/2" tall
  • Maximum load (break strength): 3,500 lbs
  • Safe working load limit (WLL): 1,200 lbs

Note: Tie-down anchors must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the anchors being used. For example, if you are using anchors with a WLL of 100 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 400 lbs, then you need at least 4 anchors to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use anchors in pairs.

I picked up 2 of these just for extra tie-points for our gear. Didn't really need this heavy duty. great prices and service from etrailer, fast shipping and well-packed boxes.

by:

This E-Track (and E-Track straps) was installed on the wall of my box trailer to secure a rolling took chest. It has performed flawlessly. Thanks again etrailer, for a great product.

by:

Iam a very tidy person and everything has a place, and this product helps make that possible.

by:

good quality, well made

by:

my first time to install and use E-track and accessories and am very happy with the quality of the product. our cargo trailer is used for hauling mostly antiques and furniture we intend to use this tie off ring to connect our existing straps which do not have the required end track fittings.
the picture shows using new straps also purchased.

everything is fine tie downs have worked well

I purchased 6 of the above e-track extensions to complete my gear for my motorcycle trailer. This now allows me along with all my other gear to appropriately secure my motorcycles when transporting them across town or across country. I am very happy with this equipment. I will continue to check out entrails line of equipment and gear as needed. The complete process from ordering, paying and receiving product was painless.

Absolutely great. I still use them weekly hauling motorcycles, furniture and even a huge gun safe. They work just as designed and I’m glad I purchased 6 of them.

by:

Works well for my application.

by:

Modified this cargo trailer to haul RC airplanes(too big to fit in my pickup) and remove the upper deck to make it useful for hauling other items. This makes a truly utility cargo trailer. Numerous tie downs with Etrack is really great. I have other pics if your interested. I just purchased an enclosed car hauler and I plan on installing Etrack in it. Thanks for making great products !

by:

Decked out my new cargo trailer with this e-track. Looks sweet! Heavy gauge construction. Easy installation. Along with the Erickson E-Track straps now I'm ready to haul just about anything safely and securely. Thanks etrailer!

by:

Etrailer supplied the equipment I needed at a great price and shipped the the northwest coast with on days from when I placed the order.
All the e-track hardware and equipment was in stock and arrived packaged very well with no shipping damage.
The e-track is heavy duty, much more than I had expected and it was easy to install.
Looking forward to upgrading my trailer even more from etrailer.

Thanks again!

by:

Excellent product! I bought 2 of the 4-ft e-tracks. These are heavier duty than I thought they would be. They are extremely practical for my 10' wood floored utility trailer. If you are like me, there aren't many good tie down points on wood bottomed trailers. These are an easy fix for a host of applications. They work great for having multiple points to tie down my 4-wheeler or lawnmower. I will definitely recommend! The only better would have been free shipping.

by:

Provides flexibility in securing cargo inside trailer. Well made product. Good value.

by:

pretty sweet man put a good dip in and crack a cold one

by:

These track tie offs exceeded my expectations. I have use a flimsier type on the past but when we installed these yesterday into our bands trailer, replacing the old tie offs, you can immediately see the difference in quality of both the stitching of the cloth and the weight of the metal. I'm ordering more today

by:

Solid construction and strong as h*ll. I use these on everything I want to tie down on any of the tracks I have in place.

by:

Very nice for being able to use normal store brand tie down straps with the Etrack system. Everything seems really well built and more than capable of handling its load rating.

by:

etrack and d'rings arrived 2 days before schedule...a very welcome surprise! Products were shipped as advertised and are perfect for securing cargo. Will order again from etailer!

by:

This strap is made of quality material and is easy to install in the e-track. The strap is a must with the e-track and worked fine to secure my cargo.

by:

Great quality and workmanship. Love the e-track system and all of the versatile ways it can be used. Exceptional customer service is the standard here. I will always go to etrailer.com for my trailer needs!

by:

E Trak system works great. The hooks, straps and brackets works so easy and performs great.

The only downside was the length of time for the company to obtain shipment of product and fill orders.

Great product.

Product was perfect--big help in organizing my trailer

by:

The trailer locks are all I hoped they would be. I am very happy with my order. This was the first time I have ordered from you but it will not be the last. Thank you.

E-Track is very well engineered, small yet strong and works anywhere along the horizontal E Track system.

  • Cargo Solutions for a 7 x 16-Foot Enclosed Trailer
Erickson's E-Track Cargo Control systems offer excellent flexibility at a moderate cost. Their E-Tracks are offered in several lengths, such as a 5-foot # E19148 for horizontal applications. Many types of accessories are offered as well, including tie-off rings like # 59131, D-rings like # E59143 and ratchet straps like # EM59136. I have included links for both E-Track items as well as some interior trailer cargo control items.

  • Recommended Attachment Method for E-Track in a Trailer with 1/8 inch Thick Steel Floor
For installing the E-track like part # EM59150 that you referenced I would use self tapping screws in every other hole of the track. This is a 2 foot section of the E-track. If you needed a 5 foot section you would also want the part # E19148. For a D-ring that is designed to fit the E-track you would want the part # E59143.

  • Using The E-Track Trailer Cargo Control # EM59150 On Trailer To Secure ATVs and Motorcycles
Installing the E-Track Trailer Cargo Control, part # EM59150, would work well to strap down your ATVs and motorcycles on your V-nose trailer. You could mount the E-Track sideways or perpendicular to the trailer frame over the floor as you described. The E-Track can also be mounted on the wall of trailers, so perhaps you could mount the track for the ATVs on the floor towards the front of the trailer. Then you could mount track on the trailer walls for the motorcycles or on the floor as...

  • D-Ring Recommendation for E-Track for Securing Harleys to Trailer
That will depend on the weight of your Harley's and how many D-rings you plan to use to secure each bike. Basically you would need to take the weight of each bike and divide that by how many straps you plan to use. That would be the total amount of capacity you would need for each D-ring. The E-Track D-Ring part # E59143 has a 3.5k capacity which would be way more than you would need. I attached a demo video for this product for you to check out as well.

  • How Far Apart Should E Tracks Be Installed On a Motorcycle Trailer
There's not a set distance that the E-Tracks like part # E19148 should be apart when installing in a one bike trailer. That will depend on the trailer dimensions, the weight of the trailer and where the best mounting locations are in your trailer. Are you planning on installing them on the floor or the walls? I am assuming it's a motorcycle trailer. If you are using wheel chocks, I would recommend putting the E-Tracks a couple feet on either side if possible. You don't need an exact figure...

  • E-Track Spacing Recommendation for Securing a Harley To a Utility Trailer
If you can get your tie down straps around 45 degrees or slightly higher when securing your Harley you would be setup pretty good. This number is more of a guideline than a rule though. Your best bet would be to mock up everything first and then make sure everything would fit properly. Put your bike in the trailer and then determine where they best place to locate the tracks would be. For D-rings to use with the E-track you would want the part # E59143, for backing plates for installing...

  • E-Track Recommendations For 7 By 14 Enclosed Trailer To Carry Classic Motorcycles
With cargo like your two classic Harleys you will want to make sure they are really well secured to prevent any damage. I recommend securing the E-Tracks to something more stable than just wood. If you are attaching the tracks to the floor I recommend you make sure they are secured either to the metal structure of the trailer or use metal plates like the E-Track Backing Plate, part # e96RR, to make it as secure as possible. These single-slot E-Track Anchors are an ideal way to add additional single tie-down points to a trailer. • Hardware Recommendation for Securing E Tracks to Plywood Trailer Floor
Securing the Erickson E-Track # E19148 to 3/4 inch plywood should be sufficient. To secure the track to the plywood, you can use screws, or rivets. Using 1/2 inch screws would be a good length with 3/4 inch plywood. You will want to attach screws at least every other mounting hole. For tie downs and straps I would recommend either the E-Track Tie-Off Ring # 59131, or E-Track 2 inch D-Ring, part # E59143. Also available is the Erickson E-Track Strap with Ratchet, part # EM59136.

  • How Far Apart Should E-Track be Mounted to Secure a Harley Ultra
There is no set distance apart that the E-Track, such as # E19148, has to be mounted. If it were me I would place them so that they are about an E-track's width apart wider than the widest part of the bike on each side. So for example if the bike 36 inches wide and the E-Track is 5-1/8 inches wide I would place the E-Track so there is 46-1/4 inches between them. I also recommend picking up several tie-downs, # E59143, to secure straps such as # EM34416 to the E-Track.

Instead I recommend using four of the 5' long etrailer Horizontal E-Track - Galvanized Steel - 2,000 lbs # e45VR. This will give you the 20' E-Track you are needing for your trailer. E-Tracks are compatible with quite a few accessories like a J-hook # EM59142, Tie-down # E59143, or tool holder # ETVH. I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.

  • Should the Tires Sit on Top of the E-Track System When Installed in a Trailer
The E-track system can install any way you would like on your trailer. It is common to install the E-Tracks so the wheels of a vehicle are on top of the E-track. This allows you to use wheel nets, like part # EM58523, that attach directly to the E-track system. Many wheel nets typically have only one hook in front of the tire and one hook behind the tire. I would recommend you use backing plates below the floor of your trailer like part # e96RR since your tractor is pretty heavy and the floor of your trailer is wood.
