This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located inside your rear hatch area, on both the driver's side and passenger's side. You will need to remove the rear threshold and some interior covering to access this harness. Once you've plugged in the T-connector, run the hot lead up to your car battery. Connect the lead to the included fuse holder, and then connect the fuse holder to the positive terminal on your battery and insert the provided fuse.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed in your rear cargo area.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.
A ModuLite power module is built into this T-One connector. Because most trailers run on a two-wire system - wherein the brake and turn signals are carried on one wire - the separate brake and turn signals from your vehicle's three-wire system need to be combined so they are compatible with the wiring system of your trailer. This power module functions as a tail light converter to combine the brake and turn signal functions of your automobile so that they run on one wire to properly activate your trailer's tail lights. Note: This will not affect how the tail lights on your vehicle operate.
With a ModuLite, your trailer's lights will be powered without overloading your vehicle's electrical system. Because the module draws power directly from your car's battery and bypasses the electrical routes that are used by a basic wiring harness, there is virtually no draw on your tail light circuits.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff D at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the T-One vehicle wiring harness, with the 4-way flat trailer connector. Now this is a custom fit part, it is designed to fit the 2020 and newer, Lexus UX 250h vehicles and on a custom fit part like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your gear and model vehicle and I'll show you, how this will work for your application. Now, this wiring harness provides a nice 4-way flat trailer connector at the back of your vehicle to power your trailers signals lights. And this is compatible with 5-pole, 6-pole and 7-pole adapters, that we do sell separate on a website. This will connect quickly and easily.
You just locate your connection points, which will be in the rear cargo area. Plug in these T connectors one on the driver's side, one on the passenger side, grounds your white wire and then take your power wire and run that to the vehicle's battery. Now, this does include this black box here which is a ModuLite tail light converter. And this is to ensure that your vehicle's wiring match that of your trailer. And it is a power module, that's why you'll connect directly to the battery to avoid overloading your vehicle's electrical system.
This converter is constructed using SMT technology, which is Surface Mount Technology, gives you more consistent reliable performance. It'll maximize your trailer light yield and intensity, while producing minimal heat, also ensures superior operation and rough road conditions. If you notice the 4-way itself has the integrated dust cover on it. So when you're not plugged into your trailer you can put that cap over to protect those terminals from any damage. Few specs on this, the maximum amp breach for the stop and turn light circuits is 5 amps per circuit, for the tail light 7.5 amp per circuit.
Now I do wanna demonstrate how this gets installed. Comes with everything shown here on the table, comes with a nice set of instructions that'll describe how this all installs. But basically what you do is, go to the rear cargo area and you'll find the connectors again in your instructions, it'll show you where they're located but you'll find your connectors that you'll unplug and then plug these T connectors in and again, the one with the yellow wires the driver's side, green wires, the passenger side. Once those get plugged in, what you wanna do is this converter box has a little weight to it, so you don't want it to bounce around, so it has a tab here with a hole, you can put a screw through to hold it or they give you a double face tape that you could use to attach it down. Once that's all attached down, run your wire and your 4-way out towards the back.
And then you'll have two remaining wires the white wire with the eyelet on it, that's for the ground, so you do want to connect to a good clean ground, if there's one nearby, you can connect to it, if not, they do give you a grounding screw that you can make your own ground. And then the last wire is this black wire which is the power wire, and that'll go to your vehicle's battery. And they do give you extra wiring to run to the vehicle's battery and the connectors. So, basically you'll take a butt connector, connect it to the power wire, connect it to one end of this wire, run it to the vehicle's battery. You don't wanna run it directly to the battery, you wanna run it through the inline fuse holder. So take your other butt connector, connect it to one side of the fuse holder, just like that, and then the other side of the fuse holder, take the eyelet connector, connect it and then that'll connect to the battery. Once it's connected, open up the fuse holder, take the included 15 amp fuse, stick it into the fuse holder. Once you get it in there, go ahead and push it down, put your cap down and now your system's all ready to go. If you notice, they do give you some extra cable ties to take up any length of wire. But that should do it, for the review on the T-One vehicle wiring harness with the 4-way flat trailer connector..

Quickly and easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your vehicle with this custom wiring harness. T-One connector plugs directly into existing wiring. Powered ModuLite reduces strain on wiring system.I purchased the wiring harness for my 2023 Lexus UX250h. The E-trailer web page said it was for the 2022 but the connectors in the pictures looked exactly the same as my 2023. I ordered and installed it. Took less than an hour and it worked as expected. I took the advice of the instructions and left the harness hidden under the cargo deck, hanging it out the rear hatch jamb when I wanted to use it.
