This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind your rear bumper on the driver's side.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.
A tail light converter is built into this T-connector. Because most trailers run on a two-wire system - wherein the brake and turn signals are carried on one wire - the separate brake and turn signals from your vehicle's three-wire system need to be combined so they are compatible with the wiring system of the trailer. This converter combines the brake and turn signal functions of your automobile so that they run on one wire to properly activate your trailer's tail lights. Note: This will not affect how the tail lights on your vehicle operate.

Arrived here in less that two days. Looks easy to install when weather gets better.
I rarely get trailer wiring to work correctly because I'm not the best at wiring very happy to just plug it in and everything works thanks much!
easy to install great fit
Product worked as advertised; plug n' play. Have used it several times by now with no issues. Only thing I would like to point is that I paid extra for 3-day delivery on Sunday night about 1:00am and the item was delivered Thursday afternoon. Item was shipped Monday according to confirmation e-mail. I live in Orlando, FL

Per UPS terms, the pickup day is not counted as a transit day. Monday we packed and shipped the item so it was the UPS pickup date. Tue-Thurs are the 3 transit days that constitute the 3-Day delivery by UPS terms.
We received the product a day earlier than expected, which was great. It was exactly as described on the web site and fit the wiring harness on the Ford Ranger. The instructions for attaching the trailer wiring harness were excellent and easy to follow. I highly recommend using etrailer.com for your trailer parts and accessories.
Excellent technology for auto owners. Greatly exceeds the process of trimming and tapping. The plug-in wiring harness was easy and quick to install.
It took longer to get my tools out than it did to install this harness! Plugging it into existing connectors beats wires and clips every time!!
This item fit my 1995 Ford Ranger without any problems. Installation time approx.
20 min. as the saying goes "plug & play". Delivery took longer than expected but arrived in 7 days. Great quality and well made.
The product came 2 days after the original date showing on the tracking information. Not a major problem other then that the product works great!!!! I will definitely order from etrailer.

Your product did not work. Junk.
The item did not work. I did not get to install it until a few months later.
Worked perfectly - old set had been flattened and the new set went in like a dream. They included the grease which made things work quickly.
Easy install and hasn’t givin me any problems at all.
Delivered as promised. Would recommend.
