Race Ramps Trailer Mates provide more space to tie down your low-ground-clearance vehicle inside a trailer. The ramps lift the front end of your vehicle 3" off the trailer floor so you can easily access tie-down points. The ramps have an 7 degree angle of approach, which allows you to load a low-ground-clearance vehicle without worrying about scraping its front end. Simply position the Trailer Mates in your trailer and drive up on them. Each ramp has a concave indentation that cradles the vehicle's front wheels to help keep your vehicle in place during transport.
These ramps are made of ultra-strong, solid core, high-density EPS foam that won't crack or bounce. Each ramp supports 1,500 lbs - giving you a total weight capacity of 3,000 lbs for lifting a vehicle. The ramps are lightweight, weighing no more than 7.5 pounds per ramp, so you can carry, transport, and store them with ease.
The ramps are covered with a textured coating and are flat on one side. This keeps them from skidding when you drive up on them. The coating is a hybrid polyurea compound that is resistant to water and other automotive chemicals commonly found around the garage. And although this coating is durable, it will not scratch, mark, or scrape your garage floor or the ground.
A built-in handle on each ramp makes maneuvering them easier than heavier steel or aluminum ramps. The ramps can also hang vertically to free up storage space in your trailer or garage.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Race Ramps Trailer Mates Trailer Ramps for the front, part number RR-TM-FRT. The Race Ramps Trailer Mates are the perfect solution for getting that extra ground clearance out of your low ground clearance vehicle so you can open your door inside your race trailer. It features a downward curve to help prevent the vehicle from rolling during transport. It has a fifteen hundred pound per ramp capacity giving you a total of three thousand pounds. It's constructed of a polystyrene with a polyurea foam, so it's going to be durable yet incredibly lightweight. It has a handle so you can easily hang it up in your garage or in your trailer. It measures thirty six inches long and fourteen inches wide and gives you an additional three inches of ground clearance.
It has a textured coating to help prevent slipping and it won't scratch your shop floor. You just need to make sure you have a clean surface free of any dirt and debris. Now that we've gone over the features, I'll go ahead and show you how to use them. Please note these are not to be used with off road tires. Let's go ahead and check our door clearance without the race ramps in use. As you can see, we can't quite open our door all the way so let's try it with the ramps now.
Let's go ahead and set our race ramps in place. I've already got one down in position. I know how far my low ground clearance vehicle pulls in, so I'll set this one place as well. You can use these in conjunction with the race ramps trailer base, just to give us that additional three inches of ground clearance. The one we're working with today is part number RR-TM-REAR. Let's go ahead and drive up.
We'll stop at this point on our front ramps and now install the rear ones. I'll make sure they get nice and snug up underneath the rear tire. With those in place, let's go ahead and finish pulling our vehicle in. As you can see with the race ramps in use, we got that extra three inches of ground clearance and our door clears.
