Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a look at this Trimax Trimaflex cable lock. This heavy duty, high security, six-foot-long Trimaflex cable lock is going to let you easily secure your gear to your bike rack, roof rack, and more. This is going to give you many different ways and many different options to lock up your gear. This is going to deter would-be thieves from stealing your equipment.
This armor-plated, braided steel cable is strong and difficult to cut. It's going to resist saw cuts and bolt cutters. And as you can see, it is encased in a plastic coating to protect your bike and other gear from scratches and scuffs from that braided steel cable. This integrated, seven pin lock core is resistant to drilling, and that's just adding to the high security nature of this cable lock. And as you can see, this does have a protective cover.
That's going to keep the lock free of debris. I'm gonna go ahead and pop that open and insert one of the keys here and unlock this. I'm just gonna give that a turn. And as you can see, that opens up very easily. You cannot remove the key from the lock while the cable is detached and unlocked.
So I'm gonna go ahead and put that back in and now we can remove our key. Speaking of these keys, you are going to get three and one of them does include a mini flashlight. So that's gonna really be great for low light or night conditions so you can see the keyhole on this lock so that's a nice added convenience that this particular key provides. This cable length, again, is six feet long. And the cable diameter is one inch.
This does have a limited lifetime warranty. And again, if you're looking for a cable lock that meets the specific details that we looked at together, I think this is gonna be a great option for you to consider.
